ED102 Index Card input from Students-good idea

Although I thought this was a little repetitive from ED101, I found the idea of incorporating index card input from students on projects and gathering background information on the students on the first day extremely helpful.

Great Course!

This course really opened my mind up to all sorts of new and exciting ideas I will be implementing in my upcoming classes! It was easy and fun. Even though it was appropriate online, I wish I had the material in text so I can use it as a manual! I'm very pleased.

An incredible experience!!!

What a great experience.Everyone should do this. It's a really good source of learning and improving our teaching methods.

Unique and very special course!

I really enjoyed it and I learned a lot from it. This is my first time and I recommend this course to every instructor. :)

Stay focused on the students

I have to remind myself to stay focused on my students and not to sit in one place merely for my comfort.  Thus walking around the room, making an attention-getting outline on the board and seeking student participation all will make your class instructions more successful.  This course helped remind me of these necessities.

John Capella

amazing course

this course is really amazing, informative and concentrated.

Moving around the room

when things are said in different way, it is the same idea.  The teacher is moving around the room,  a manager is managing by walking around.

Medical Terminology

I have been re-inspired from taking this mini course on various ways to teach Medical Terminology. I think am gonna try "Charades" with my students and see all the smiles.

Great

This course was very informative

ED 105

The part on tips for power point was excellent. I use power points in many of my presentations and I will definitely change a couple of things based on the info found in ED 105

ed106

This course was a great help to improve my teaching skills, especially when it comes to students with disabilities. I also got inspirational moments from concepts such as monitoring and "floating" around the room. Very useful!!

ED104

I enjoyed this course. Very informational for the classroom.

ED103

I enjoyed this class, it reinforced the importance of understanding various student learning styles as well as how to develop effective assessments for students.  I will apply what I learned to future classes.

EL 101

Hi everyone, having taken this course enabled me to further explore opportunities to improve the way that I develop courses as an SME (subject matter expert) and also understand the back of the house features as to what has developed a quality course, which also mirrors the one such of a live traditional course. We do see value in also adding futuristic features such as web conferencing as well, which I do in one of my courses a couple of times a month. i hope that this serves as motivation to others in using this course as good learning module.

ED 104

This course was informative and demonistrated different techniques to apply in a classroom setting

ED310 Teaching Medical Terminology in Fun and Exciting Ways

Good Presentation -  I learned some new "hands on" teaching tools to use in the classroom -

ED105

The section on PowerPoint presentations was invaluable. The guidelines that were set forth were also pertinent to my profession life outside of teaching, and I will also be using these guidelines when I do formal PowerPoint presentations at conferences and other forums.
