Great tool to enlighten and lend tips on how a teacher can craft their classes. Thank you for the insights!!!!

Engage with the students in the classroom.

I find that we should continually engage with the students, by walking around the class at all times to see their progress and performance on the task at hand.

A great review with lots of new tools!

ED 102 has really helped me streamline the teaching and delivery process. A lot of the tools and steps mentioned seemed like reviews but this type of refresher is necessary to keep educators like myself on top of my game and keep the students involved and motivated.  This course gave me the steps to do just that!

Very educational!

ED 107 has really helped me manage my classroom. This cycle of students haven't been able to keep up, so I had to adjust the class to them.  This course gave me permission to do just that.

ED 104

This course material was very interesting.  The information provided validated and enhance my current knowledge.

ED106

The learning disability information that was provided in ED106 was rather shocking but at the same time very informative. I can appreciate what a disabiled student goes through a lot better now.

ED101

This was a very informative course.  I learned a lot and will apply this new knowledge to my classes next term.  Thank you!

ED104

This course was very informative and it has given me new ideas to work into my courses from making a calendar to help the students know when assignments are due and quizzes and exams will be given.  I will be applying what I have learned to my next set of courses.

clear and concise

I found the course to be very clear and concise.  It offered great ideas on confidence building and retention of students.

c102

Couse was informative.  I understand the comments to keep up confidence levels and other criteria.  I guess I thought the retention isses were big issues.  Working for a for profit scohol, getting students through the program and keeping the class retention high can be a challenge.

education 104

I read from reading the messages in the class discussion how one instructor emails every student every class--I find that is a great way to get to know the students and find out whee the problems are and how to solve them. In the 21st century we should use the technology that is available to us and also to them.  One problem with that I see is---not all  of my students have computers and thus are not checking their emails as often as others are

Instructional Review

I enjoyed revisiting types of instructors and instructional methods. Seeing the differnece between training, instructing and learning was very enlightening.

ED106

This was a great forum. The best of them all so far. Found the information about Learning Disabled students enlightening and now am confident in dealing with these exceptional individuals.

Thoughts

This was really helpful when it came to developing lesson plans and the different type of delivery options that are out there for teachers.

ED104

This course helped me a great deal to identify problems with students much earlier than I did before.  It also helped me to slow down to take time to think

ED 106

This training course provided me with some very good information and techniques regarding students with different learing disabilities.  Should I come across a student with a disability I will definitely utilize the information I received from this course.

First Day Motivation

On my first day of class I like to have the students introduce themselves right after my introduction.  This is a good ice breaker and gives me some information on the students as well.  They may seem nervous and shy but making them speak outload to the group often eases nerves of a new class and new faces.   Also I give them alot of my background information and experience in the field.  I found this to solve the doubts of my qualifications right from the start and since I was also an adult learner they  can see that if I can… >>>

Motivation of students

When you walk into your first day of a course you can go over your syllabus and other materials that you need to present to the students, but is this what will motivate the students?  I have found on the first day of going over these materials the next item I like to do is inform the students that I too was once in their position; of returning back to school and having to learn another career.  This helps to allow the students to relate to me as a instructor and for them to know that I once sat where… >>>
