I just recently completed El 102 and I truly got a nice refresher on how to manage online students in general. It gives a nice sense to ensure that we are always up to speed with what we need to take care of in an online environment and focus on student retention as well. I hope this helps others similarly.

I have just completed this course and have begun trying to use the information to better understand students. I see a wide variety of students with many different motivations. Understanding the differant ways these people are motivated to learn has been interesting to say the least. Finding a style that not only agrees with me but also enough students to be worthwhile is a challenge.

This particular course gave me a chance to look at things that I am doing right, and also gave me some insight as to how I might improve on some of my soft skills, in order to be more effective in the classroom. We often as instructors erroneously feel our students should grasp concepts as easliy as we do. If we think about our jobs from a people oriented standpoint, then we realize that sometimes it takes others longer to get what we've had several years to absorb and/or perfect. Active learning is a more comtemporary and fun for the students. After a day of active learning, I commented to my students how fast the day went by. Most agreed that the day flew by because we were so busy and active. The students respond well due to increased "buy-in" with the subject matter.

Having never taught students before I found this course very helpful in preparring me for my career in teaching. I am looking forward to learning more from the many courses offered via my campus.

If you can't measure (assessment) what the students are retaining from your teaching courses, then the whole process is one sided.  This module showed me that testing isn't so much to see what the student doesn't know, but more of a measurement of where they are in the learning process.  Assessments can be a tool to guage the effectiveness of course instruction.

I've just completed EL 104 - Teaching and Organizing a Virtual Learning Environment.  I currently facilitate in an online environment where the classroom and materials are set up by our academic team.  This course has provided me with excellent tips and techniques to enhance what is there!  I look forwarded to making the learning experience better for my students.

I just completed ED109, 

Being that I do not hold extensive experience, this course provided pivotal background thst will aid in preparation of my lesson. I have already adopted some of the ideas that is conveyed in this course, but it also gave further understanding on some the essential attributed that should be incorported into time management. Overall, a great course! 

I just completed ED103 allowed me to learn more about different learning styles and ways of testing very good course..

Taking ED 110 was a helpful way to learn about time and stress management and gave me insight into ways to reduce stress in my life.  So, now I am going to do that.  I hope this course is as valuable to others as it was to me.

This course was very interesting and helpful. It shows us the different ways of motivating students in the classroom. The ht to dos nd hat not to do.

It was interesting to find out the specifics about the learner types & the techniques used to enhance their learning expirience. I personally identified with the efficiency of the experiential learning. i'll look forward for a more in deep training abput this topics.
