This course will help me to create a foundation of essential roles of being teacher in the Healthcare Field. My students will benefit from the structure I have learned to provide, and the techniques and strategies for planning and preparation within the classroom setting. By taking this course, I will be able to impliment what I have learned, in order to create a structured yet conducive to learning environment within my school.

This is much more involved than I thought.

I enjoyed this course. I would, however, like to see more time/material donated to dealing with difficult students and more concrete advice on how to diffuse them.

There was a lot of helpful information on reorganizing and rethinking of how you go about not only your job, but your everyday life as well. Reducing stress and optimizing your time at work and at home will great improve your productivity And he,p others in their life, too.

This course was very stimulating to me as it covers everything in the course I cover at my school for the adult learners.  They have very specific needs that are different from the traditional student.  It refocussed me on my course and in a way rejuvenated me.

I really enjoyed the course. I felt it applied to me and I learned alot that I will apply in class.

This topic on teaching to adult lerners was awesome. I will take from this course a lot of guidance on redirecting some things in my classroom.

This was a great lesson that really showed me reasoning behind why some adult students go off track while including methods of ways to deal with this. I now have new methods and ideas to implement to help/assist these students!

This lesson was very informative and helpful. It allowed me to understand certain techniques that could be implemented in the classroom if my students are in need of motivation. 

I am realatively a new instructor,but I starded my career with such a passion that I impressed a lot of student with my instructional style. I tookthe ED101 as a CE, and I can tell you that I learn a lot more. I thought that I was doing everything right until I complete that class. I have a lot of improvement to make. Thank you guys.

I absolutely loved the critical thinking exercise ideas which this course provided! My students learn much better if they are engaged and entertained.

My favorite was the T-shirt idea in which the students must draw the internal physical structures as a homework assignment, and then interact with each other in the classroom by then taking stethoscope readings (and thereby assessing their clinical skills).

I will be able to take several of these new ideas and implement them within my classroom.

I learned a lot from this course.  As a new instructor I wasn’t sure about how to approach the students during the first day of class.  This course (ED101) had helped me get organized and plan my first class in a way as to let the students know the entire term will be great.  I learned about the importance of giving a good first impression and about the principles of professionalism.  I also enjoy learning about the different personalities in my class and planning the classes accordingly.  This course helped me to plan better and increase students’ performance.

I enjoyed this class. Getting all the students of varying ages and learning skills to learn the same material and not insult the more advanced students is difficult, this class gave good ideas on how to achieve this. I am upfront with my students and tell them I use many different techniques in order to reach all learning types and personalities. I give the statistic that when you use multiple methods, it increases the retention rate. Once they understand my method, they buy into it and become engaged in learning.

I found ED 205 to be very informative.  I will be utilizing the skills I learned in my classroom.

Reading some of the ways I need to teach and found I was already implement most of these ideas into my teachings becuase I have Dysnomia & Dyslexia. 

I thought that ED310 was fun and interesting. Although I have done some of the interactive learning it gave me some new and exciting ideas to enhance class.
