I really like this idea of incorporating pictures with medical terminology. Sometimes the best ways of learning are by creating something memorable to relate to.

using puzzles to unscramble terms

I make my own puzzles from terms that are within a particular chapter. I will scramble a term with one or more words and have them unscramble the words. Some of the letters will be highlighted and those letters, when unscrambled, will form a sentence pertaining to that chapter. I use these for extra credit.

What I normally do when Teaching Dental Anatomy or Human Anatomy.

For dental anatomy as well as human anatomy I try to reach all kinds of learners by: 1) I almost never do a Power Point Slide with just typed words; I always add pictures next or below the typing words. Of course, the pictures must be related to the concept presented. In that way I reach the visual. 2) While lecturing, I reach the auditory learners. 3) I encourage students to take notes which will benefit all my students to get a long memory as well as writing will benefit Writer words learners. 3) Right after 10-18 minutes of sliding presentation I do a drawing and coloring activity related to what I just presented as well as I give them real natural teeth and the bones from skeleton to identify structures, tissues, and bones to reach the kinesthetic learners. But now, that I have been presented all of these new ideas to reach all the type of learner, I do definitively will use them as part of my regular classes. I am so happy to have read and learned those.

Thankful for the opportunity

I am so thankful for all the devotional Professional colleagues who put all their efforts in developing these new excited techniques, which I really do like. I am also thankful for the opportunity I have had to do these very informative Maxknowledge online courses. I will implement all of them except the “play Baseball” or Football, because I am not a sporty person and believe it or not, I do not even know how to play them in real. I have not watched one single game of these two in all my life; so I know I won’t be excited nor knowledgeable to guidemy students through it. On the other hand, I know I will be absolutely excited to apply the other techniques("secret identity", "Matching Cards, " Questions and Answer relay Race, Flip Chart Learning Race, and the underhand Ball" beginning on the next class. I know we all be excited and we will enjoy these new techniques in a positive environment of happiness, confidence, and knowledge to reach the long term memory goal.
