To make sure that students are prepared for their careers.
The goal of educating students is providing a medium to the students to help them adapt what the text book goals are, and integrate them into the practical field of study. The more hands on experience and information that a student can get about their career prior to starting it will give the students a good idea of what they want to focus on when they are ready to enter the work force.
The goal of educating students is to teach them HOW to think and not just WHAT to think.
We severely do our students a disservice if we teach to the test, thereby creating robotic test takers who have no idea how to function or anaylyze a sitation unless given a form on how to function.
Until we realize this as instructors, we will continue to see education as students "spitting" out information rather than learning to learn. Once we truly educate, students will then be able to apply transferrable knowledge to their future careers and all areas of life.
my goal of teaching is to educate the students proper skills, not only the technical skill but also the the soft skills. Because professionalism is very important.
My goal in educating students is actually two-fold. First of all, I want to make sure that they learn their technical skills, that they will be using in their future jobs. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, I want to teach them hot to think, so that they will become good at solving problems at their future jobs.
Hi Ziaul:
Hopefully, suucess in life will be the fortune of every derving individual. How we can contribute to that is by being honest and sincere ambassadors of thier learning, taking accountability for outcomes, and offering assistance when we determine a student needs a little extra nudging.

Hi Leslie:
Great!. Especially in career schools, but in any enrironment, when we are able to convey what we've gained from work, experience, education, training, and life, we can be proud that wee've helpd those students to be be just a little better in their lives and future employment.

My goal is to see that in addition to their technical skills, that they have the skills that will set them apart. Attitude, outlook, time management and organizational skills. The importance of a plan and goal and what steps they will need to take to achieve success in their chosen fields.
To be successful in their life
My goal in educating students is to provide them with the foundation of knowledge and skills of their chosen field while embedding soft skills throughout my courses. Ultimately, the goal is for the students to take this knowledge with them and apply it in their professional and personal life.
My goal for each of my student is to cause a change in there life which would enable them to be job ready. This may come in the form of the addition of skills sets, attitude readjustment, soft skills etc....
My goal for educating students is taking the required objectives for that course and teaching the students the theory behind the objectives, then give them hands-on experience using that information and finally relating that knowledge to real word experiences.
My goal is to see that in addition to their technical skills, that they have the skills that will set them apart. Attitude, outlook, time management and organizational skills. The importance of a plan and goal and what steps they will need to take to achieve success in their chosen fields.
I believe the goal of educating students is to make them better at what they do, both professionally and personally. Educating students involve course/field content but also career skills and character. It also involves strengthening the confidence as learners so they can see what their potential is and seek to reach that by constantly challenging them. That involves delivering a challenging course with attainable goals. Those goals hoowever, need to evolve as students achieve them.
The goal is to affect permanent change in their behavior. Whether it is the development of soft skills like being on time or concrete skills like julienne vegetables.
My goal for educating students is to make sure they learn everything they can. I try to make them understand that you can learn something new all the time. I explain to them that I am constantly learning new things and that as students they should be life long learners everywhere and not just in the classroom.
Educating students is preparing them through knowledge, exercising their critical thinking skills, practice applying their skills and knowledge to better prepare them for their future. Setting goals for students is also a part of educating them. I would say the main goal of educating students is that they would leave class different and changed by knowledge and new or more refined skills to apply to life and their future career.
Goal of educating students is to tap into their abilities and encourage life long learning. The role of education is to help students to learn a skill and apply that skill.
For me the goal of educating students is to teach them how to learn and be students for the rest of their lives. If they know how to take information and process it in order to use it later, they will be successful at any job.
