I teach mathematics. When introducing the procedure of combining like terms, I color code my variables and constants. For example, when I write a polynominal on the board all x's are red, all y's are blue, z's are yellow and constants are green. Visual learners very quickly learn to combine like terms by combining like colors.

I prefer to use live demonstrations or power point presentations when instructing a group of visual learners.
Some strategies to use when working with visual learners may include power point presentations, overhead projections, slide shows, video/TV/DVD presentations. Any learning via visual means would benefit visual learners.
power points , I find work really well. You can use diagrams and words to get the point across

Graphic material. I have taught with a wall of charts covered with brown paper, then revealed each panel and had a group discussion on it, then on to next reveal and after that discussion ask how they relate to each other.
For an interactive approach, ask them to diagram wht they mean of to express a paper with drawings and somewhat minimal text
When lecturing try to be animated so you get the students attention and also please alot of learning styles

When working wtih visual learners in the classroom, instructional strategies that I may incorporate are thinking maps or brainstorming bubbles. The use of multimedia such as DVDs/videos, in powerpoint lectures incorporating color, pictures, graphs or tables that may highlight some of the points being made. I might embed a short youtube into the power point. Visual learners may also benefit from making their own diagrams or coloring pictures from what they learned in class, ie anatomy or the color wheel.
