One way to keep asynchronous students from feeling isolated or disconnected is to design modules in a way that they know what to expect throughout the entire course.

I learned the importance of consistency when creating course modules. The goal of this kind of training is to help you achieve your fitness or performance goals.

students lose focus after watching a video greater than 10 minutes, therefore topics need to be broken down in small parts to achieve retention of information.

Consistency from week to week is important, and that the average learner loses interest in 10-15 minutes.

Effective online learning requires the use of well-organized modules containing only that which is relevant to the learing objectives and content. It can be organized chronologically or by subject, and sequencing of topics is quite important. It is also very important to choose the best methods of presenting information, allowing for interaction with the material, and testing. Textual delivery may not be the best option in many cases. Online learning can be enhanced through the use of learning objects, such as images and media, interactions, and other assets that may be obtained from your university, other instructors, organizations, or textbook publishers.

Consistency is important when developing a course.

The organizatoin of the modules fot content delivery so that students learn better.

What's missing from the explanations, however, is how to get students TO THINK more deeply about what they've learned.

What is the role of reflection in learning? There is no discussion of this. Chunking is awkward terminology. You need a better word.

Consistancy in creating a course is very important.

In this unit I learned that consistency and symmetry is needed in online courses. I know as a teacher, I appreciate this. Courses with heavy and light weeks make grading harder.

The learning objects repository makes sense and it's something I've done throughout my academic career.

Keep modules and wording similar in description and design.

Utilizing the formats and templates that are provided to you helps to have a consistant approach to the development of each module. It will also facilitate the search for students.

Building a course is more than just packing information into a presentation.  I am not the student, and my way of learning is not necessarily the way my students will learn.

Developing a template and being allowed to evaluate and improve the course is paramount to creating good, consistant learning situations.

Consistency in module formats will help students navigate thru their module. It provides a glance at what is expected and when.

It makes it easier for students to understand the course and assignments that will be due.

If the course material is uniformed and consistent, students will have a better understanding, they will not be confused and they will ask fewer questions when it comes to directions.

In this portion of the course, it was emphasized that consistency is the key. This allows the student to find things easily and be more comfortable in the course.

Consistency is key in learning, assessment, and evaluation.

The most important thing I learned is how important it is to be consistent. I'm guilty of sometimes being inconsistent with formatting so this was helpful to reconsider.

I learned about course framework and course developement , consistency in creating course modells, using the various media tools

Organizing the on-line content contributes well to student learning, at times when teacher is not present.
