This is my first time participating in this type of training and I am finding it extremely helpful. I have yet to start my resource notebook as I just started the training. However, if one is not available at my school it should be. If I am the first person to create one it will contribute greatly to other representatives to come.
The resource notebook is a crucial part of the admission process. It allows for an organizaed and more efficent way to reference the material as needed while keeping up to date with changes and compliance programs. It often includes material that a representative dosent use on adaily basis and may not know of the top of their heads so having something to refer to within arms reach allows an answer to be given to the prosepctive student without have to wait for an answer at a later date.
To keep all of the vital information in one easy-to-reach place, we put our Faculty handbook, Student handbook, and Program Catalog (with tabs), in one notebook.
