Ashley,

Very well stated. Being current means having the knowledge to be compliant.

Virginia,

It is very important to have the truth and the reference for the truth. This is where the notebook is your best source.

Patty Aronoff

Olga,

When this situation happens, doubt jumps in. The student had to decide who is telling the truth and the resource notebook can be your go to reference for clarification.

Patty Aronoff

Olga,
Excellent! It is a great way to pull out information and offer an explanation for questions asked.

Patty Aronoff

Paul,

Make the notebook your own creation. Develop and design it to your needs. Continue to add any materials that will help you.

Patty Aronoff

Stephanie,
Accreditation is certainly on the minds of our students. Congratulations on your dental class!

Patty Aronoff

Paul,
When writing policy, review both statute and rule to make sure your are in compliance. Also, check in with your program specialist for guidance.

Patty Aronoff

Jeneissy,
These are common terms used by the schools in our sector. Make sure you revisit their definitions for a clear understanding.

We are currently going through the accreditation process. Thanks for all the tips on what to include in the resource notebook. It is so important for everyone in the process to be on the same page and up to date on all procedures.

I believe that this is a great resource for getting the exact fact and should be utilized in meetings on a regular basis to further learn the exact facts.

The most popular one that I am currently using is Accreditation, since we are our Inaugural Dental Class begins July 2012! So I get several calls regarding our Accreditation.

I agree. It is very disconcerting when one admissions rep states something completely new or different from another admissions rep. All Admission rep should be on the same page. And should be trained together.

I have added to the Resource Notebook with our catalog, enrollment agreement This way, I have a quick go to for any questions that I need answered.

We are currently writing the admission process...its in its very early stages

what a great tool....I am building mine as we speak...thanks for all the great tips and ideas>>>

The terms we mostly use are: enrollment agreement, enrollment, program, rules, etc.

Marvin,
In order to be compliant, we must fully understand the regulations of our licensure. By following the rules, we remain operating at a level of compliance.

Patty Aronoff

Marisel ,
I believe everyone should have their own. That way, they create it and have ownership of the resource. They can organize it and develop it through their own choosing.

Patty Aronoff

sang,

I always hope that admissions guides the prospective student in finding the right choice for them. Sadly, students do not really know what they want.

Patty Aronoff

Lauren,
Question...when students take individual classes, are they able to apply them to a full program? Or, are individual classes taken for no credit?
