Enrollment Agreement, Institution Catalog, and Accreditation.

Some of the terms and definitions commonly used during the admission process at my institution are:

Accrediting agency, State council for education, high school transcript or evidence of high school approval, admission application, and admission fee receipt.

Mayra Rivera

I started my Resource Notebook with the materials from this course. I founded the information so far very valuable. Then, added the Institutional documents and marketing materials, state licensing documents and accrediting agency documents.

I am going to need a bigger binder or divided it by units.

Marlon,

You are off to a great start! Continue to add resources to make your notebook more valuable to you.

Carlos ,

I would suggest that you select a small section for your meeting and have someone read it out load. It takes a more vivid meaning when read aloud and discussed.

Patty Aronoff

Jeong,

Great start! Continue to add additional materials about your school to share with your prospective students.

The Institution Chart.
Marketing and Advertising procedures.

Ms. Aronof

I have placed the following information in the Resource Notebook:

Florida's ICE website, Rules & Law, Chapter 1005 Florida Statutes, Chapter 6-E, F.A.C. rules, Rule 6E-2.010; F.A.C. Agents provisions, Rule 6E-1.0032, F.A.C. Fair Consumer Practices, instution catalog, enrollment agreement, marketing plans, P&Ps, organization chart.

Our program is pretty new so my challenge is making sure that everyone in the admissions office (though a small group of personnel) is well aware of the rules and regulations and is kept up with the requirements. The Resource Notebook has served to be a great tool of information and reference.

I have added to the Resource Notebook with our catalog, enrollment agreement form and Rule 6E-2.010, F.A.C. Agent document. This way, I have a quick go to for any questions that I need answered.

Emrollment agreement, Admission requirement

I've placed all the terms and definitions most frequently used. Also an organizational chart with all the staff (directors, teachers, supervisors, etc). A copy of the student enrollment agreement and the school catalog. All the statues and rules are in the notebook, in order to explain all the prospective students about our requirements and also the the CIE . There is also a copy of any current advertising material.
I discovered that having all this information gather on a notebook you can access fast and accurate, so the prospective student can have reliable and trustful information during the meeting.
I also discovered what was is the Title IV

J. ,
You have learned so much! Thank you for sharing your experience!

Patty Aronoff

Jennifer,

Continue to add additional documents to assist you in your position. Every additional resource gives you additional knowledge and reference.

Patty Aronoff

Carmen,

The notebook's value lies in the current information it holds. Everything must be current!

Patty Aronoff

Cameron,

Whether intentional or not, providing misleading information to your students is against Florida education law.

Patty Aronoff

Alton,

The agreement and catalog constitute the legally binding contract.

Patty Aronoff

Alton,
Make sure the student also receives the school catalog. As they sign the enrollment agreement they are attesting to receiving and reading the catalog.

Patty Aronoff

Adalinda,

You have explained these terms very well. The steps to be awarded Title IV funds is lengthy and costly. The return to the school is the availability of funding for your students and recognition of USDOE.
