I read the updates in our catolog and addendums comes out often.
Keeping an updated copy of the rules and regulations in my recourse notebook is helpful. Also I check regularly for updates.

The ways I learned the various Florida Statutes and Regulation that regulate our activities and our intitution is the institution catalog and the enrollment agreement since these offer guidelines put forth in the Fair Consumer Practice sectionin the Rules and Statutes.
Amy, your idea about monthly meetings is excellent. I will start first meeting with our admissions staff, so we can all be in the same page and share information on the Statues, Rules and Regulations.
We keep informed through the CIE website and FAPSC Continuing Education. Our CIE representative is an extremely helpful source for us and he always welcomes our inquiries when clarification is needed on the regulations.
One of the ways I am learning and staying current with the Rule and Regulations of the Florida Statutes is by having a collaborative meeting monthly by College Dept. This is helpful in being able to organize my binder by the institution's College sectors while making it easier to reference and keep up to date.

Printing, highlighting and reviewing the most commonly used Rules and Regulations that regulate activities at the institution has been the best method.

We have quarterly meetings to go over any new information and I always try to be proactive and check the Florida statue website.
They need to be continually reviewed in order to become familiar with them and see if any changes have been made.
Through emails from corporate office that keep all staff up to date on any changes to Florida Statutes and Rules and Regulations as they affect our institution.
