From reading them in this module it has helped me to understand what I should know and where to go to locate the rules and statues so I can be able address any questions that may come up.

I get emails from the Commission and I those are very helpful. I developed the catalog and enrollment agreement with our counselor at the commission and it was a great process that helped me understand all the rules and regulations. always watch the meeting online which i think is a useful tool as well to keep me informed.
Doug,
Yes, your school can lose its license to operate in Florida.
Patty Aronoff
Gwendolyn,
I would suggest that you check once a month through the CIE newsletter for changes as they can happen any time during the year.

I'd like to add an alert to my calendar to check for updates each year. When, if updates are made, are they posted?
I have to say I now know how serious and important it is to follow the rules and regulations. Failure to adhere to the regulations has implication s for myself as well as my company.
Thank you, Doug Behrendt
First and foremost, reading (and rereading) the statutes that govern florida.
Our supervisors are also equipped to answer most compliance questions/concerns. For additional support we have a legal team and compliance department.
Thank you so much for the really great advice. I am working at learning both my new position as well as all the rules and statues that must be used. Thank you for a great learn resource tool in the CM 201 training course.
Take care,
Jacki Garcia
Jackie,
My best advice is to learn them in manageable moments. Read the statutes first for the basis of all that follows. You will learn of the establishment of the Commission and their powers. Pay particular attention to the definitions as they all do not repeat in the rules.

Yaitzaenid ,
We must abide by all the rules whether state, federal, or accrediting body. They all follow primarily each other but it is important to be knowledgeable of the nuances of each.
Patty Aronoff
Gina,
Excellent plan! It is very helpful to continue to review and discover the rules in both application and protection.
Patty Aronoff
Jared,
Check out CIE's newsletter on their website for a first hand look at what is new in our sector.

Helmi,
We do owe it to our students as they are the lifeblood of our school.

I have just completed the CM201. Wednesday was my first day. I was a recruiter for the U.S. Navy for
over 4 years. I recruited, processed all of the paperwork, scheduled there physical and after words they were sent to a classifier. The classifier was
the one that setup the navy school. I did not have
to work about the financial side. Just want to make sure that I know all the rules and regulation. I can
download from the CIE Website. Also, I have created a folder with the rules and regulations. My co-workers are also very helpful.
I'm learning them in a couple of differnt ways such as keeping abreast of what is going on in the industry on a personal level but also meeting with our Campus director as well as other members of management discussing this on a constant bases. we want to make sure we are compliant on all levels as we owe it to the students we enroll so that they will have the best edcuational journey possible.
SO far I have been on the CIE website and along with these training modules through FAPSC.
I found downloading all of the regulations and reviewing one by one, highlighting and reviewing again extemely helpful. Some I knew quite alot about others I found out more about. I will add to my notebook to review everyday.
