What do you know about your institution?

How do you rate your knowledge about your institution? Be specific about what you know and what you are discovering.

Larry ,

Sounds like an exciting place to be! The services that the school offers can complete the experience for the student. Just a simple addition of the fitness room keeps the campus community growing together.

Patty Aronoff

David,

What a great idea! Having a go to place ensures that everyone gets the same information so we can keep our students informed.

Patty Aronoff

Jesse,
Keep on learning! The rules and requirements of the position will continue to grow.

Patty Aronoff

I would rate my knowledge at about a 5 at this time. I have been here 3 weeks and know the 3 different training programs we offer; Automotive Technology, Diesel technology and Commercial Truck Driving. At the completion of either the auto or diesel tech training the student has earned the training required for an ASE certification but will not be granted the certification until they have accumulated enough "on the job" time. Also because we are a non-profit organization our tuition costs are much less. I know that we offer students a fitness room, 3 different options for when they attend classes and at the end of the program they receive a 2 year associates degree in occupational Technology.

Since there is a lot of information to know about the school, we use an intranet to keep track of services that are offered, special events, changes, and information about the programs. Its updated on a daily basis.

My knowledge level about my institution is very good. Although I am a new employee I have learned of the many rules and requirements of my position and other positions that I interact with.

Ronald,
Keep on learning! The more that you create inquiries the more you will find you have greater knowledge. It will build upon itself and before you know it you'll be amazed at how much you've learned.

Patty Aronoff

Renee,
The information that we provide to our students must be always up today. When your school has a handbook it must complement the school's catalog. Any information that is not congruent creates an issue when implementing policies and procedures.

Patty Aronoff

Robert,
Excellent! You've even targeted areas where you need further knowledge and that is amazing.

Patty Aronoff

Desiree,
That is awesome! Not only do you believe but you deliver.

Patty Aronoff

Reinalda,
Excellent! That academic and institutional history is important to your students. Having accreditation beyond the state licensure is another seal of approval.

Patty Aronoff

David,

It is so much much better when a student has a whole school involved. Knowing that you are all working together in the benefit of the student gives a positive experience for the students.

Patty Aronoff

Yassmin,

Take every moment as a learning opportunity. They abounds throughout the day. When you are taking students on tours ask questions.

Patty Aronoff

Nida,
That speaks highly of your institution. When they invest in their employees, they are investing in their institution. More importantly, they are investing in the students.

Patty Aronoff

Derrick,
You sound smarter because you are smarter. That is the quality that prospective students are looking for in their admissions representatives. They want someone who really knows.

Patty Aronoff

Olga,
That is a very good process and habit it to have. I would continually ask questions and involve yourself at your institution you'll be amazed at what you learn.

Patty Aronoff

Erica,

Excellent! Continue to improve your knowledge and share with others.

Patty Aronoff

Yolanda,
Institutional history is a great thing to have. It shows where you been, where you're going, and what you are going to do in the future.

Patty Aronoff

Patricia,

Excellent! Continue to develop and apply your knowledge to increase what you know. We can always have something new to learn. So, build and build upon it.
