Very good programs in the health care field. You will want to add the Department of Health rules to your notebook.

We offer Allied Health programs, Medical Assistant, Medical Coding, Healthcare Management, Nursing...speaking with our Career Services director helps with learing about changes in the industry and possible empolyement later. The Directors/dean of each program are helpful with questions as well.

We IT Certifications at our school. The best way that I have been able to learn about the jobs students train for is understanding the technology and what each course covers.

I have been in this potion for 10 years and have a firm grssp on how technology changes and what each program offers.

In our school we offer emt, paramedics, phleb and ekg as one program. When I read the catalog, it helps me understand the material of what they are going to be learning about. Also, I browse through the website.

EMT
Paramedics
Phlebotomy
EKG

Talking with the instructors on a daily basis always keeps me in tune with what the students will be looking forward to on a daily basis

Cosmetology, Full Specialist, Nail tech, barbering hvac, culinary arts baking and pastry

We have both Diploma programs, AS and Bachelor degrees. i.e. Cosmetology, esthetics, Hvac, Web and graphic design, Business programs... Just to name a few. I do my own research in Google, youtube to findout more about possible career paths and positions or opportunities available from each of our programs. But we also do have trainings, and I also speak to program directors or managers, for each of our programs.

We have 6 schools of study. Criminal Justice, Electronic Technology, IT, Nursing, Drafting and Design and Business. Some of them have more than 1 program offered. I am learning about the programs as I read the catalog and train on admissions.

My school offers serval programs of study, along with the catalog I would ask several of the program chairs to explain their course of study so I could have a better understanding of the invidivual courses. Knowledge is the best medicine when talking with prospective students.

Our school currently offers a Phlebotomy Program and a Home Health Aide Program. I am a Phlebotomist, Home Health Aide, and CNA. Also I take CEU classes whenever possible and sit in on classes at my institution.

We offer: Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, Phlebotomy/EKG Technician

Daniel,
That is a great community connection! You have a founded treasure.

Hiram,
I would agree! Stop by the classroom and gain a whole new perspective.

Our school offers the following program; Home Health Aide, Phlebotomy Technician, Electrocardiograph Aide, Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant and Practical Nursing.I will add the statutes and rules from the fl board of nursisng to my resource. I previous work side by side with a vising physician and I learn some of the skill on each of the above program. Example, labs, read ekg report, wound care, and personal care for patient. I will sit in on all the above class there is still a lot for me to learn.
