Congratulations Maria,

Taking course programs are a good idea to help guide potential students on which path to take. I will be adding this to my to-do list.

Thanks!

We offer programs in IT, Business, Education and Criminal Justice at Associates, Bachelors and Masters levels. I would learn about the jobs students train for from faculty members, ONET and admissions trainings and meetings.

We offer degree programs in business, technology, criminal justice, education, communication, etc. We offer Associates, Bachelors, Masters and some Doctoral degrees as well. We also provide some individual course offerings. There are various ways that I can learn about the programs we offer. Our school catalog offers great descriptions of the programs and courses. The faculty and staff at our university are wonderful resources as well.

Brooke,
Try sitting in on classes and taking with faculty. They love to talk about what they teach.

Lois,
Program chairs and faculty hold a wealth of information. Tap into that wonderful resource.

Yezid,

I would suggest you add the rules and regs for the Board of Nursing to your notebook. Congratulations on your new programs.

Hi Patty,
We offer many programs: certifications, associates, bachelors, graduate and doctoral degree programs. How we learn about each of the programs is through trainings and certifications.

We offer Information Technology, Criminology and Electronics Technology, Nurseing. The best way to learn more is to talk with the dept chairs and find out more.

We offer Computer Business Application and Computer Repair Technician, also we are in process to offer Practical Nursing and Nursing. Related with the job positions in those fields we make researches and also have contacts with employment agencies which they help us with this information too.

Carol,
Very good! Getting to know your local employers will give you the inside story on what they are looking for to hire.

Ada,
You are so right! It takes a whole school to produce a graduate. Everyone has a role.

Patty Aronoff

Antonio,

Observe and ask questions! Talking to instructors is a great way to learn! They love to talk about their classes.

Alina,
Externships are the practical experience in the real world. Best case, get hired from externship!

Patty Aronoff

Barbara,
You are tapping into a super resource with your department chair. I try to bring prospective students on their tour to meet with program chairs to answer any specific questions they might have.

We offer Cosmetology and Nails. I will learn about the jobs by speaking to the career services department as well as graduate testimonials.

We offer seven 7-month programs. Four of themhave Extership hour requirements. Our Retention is at 85% and our placement rate is at 89%.

This achievement is not easy and needs the coorperation of each department in the Institute to accomplish. Information is available via our Directors. Once a decision is made it is put in effect and everyone gets the word. De-centralization is key in our school.

Sitting in classrooms talking to professors about their class. Reading the student catalog, and reading the fact sheet is the best way to prepare yourself

We offer Business Administrative Technology, Medical Administrative Assistant and Medical Transcription. I will learn about the job being offered through speaking with our externships' and through student follow ups.

We offer several programs at our school all ranging from associate to bachelor degrees. As part of our local training we meet with the chair of each department and thoroughly discuss each program and the ideal type of student. We also have training every week to go back over all our programs offered, any changes to the programs, and ways to help promote the programs.

Leonard,

You have a good plan in place. Try also spending time with career services to learn their role and how they assist the students.
