Certifications in IT such as Cisco, Microsoft, and CompTIA certifications. We have two placement directors that I speak to regularly; we also have a weekly meeting where the placement directors state what jobs they are trying to fill, as well as success stories of students that we have assisted in connecting with well-paying positions. I also research online to keep up with the industry and visit many websites to ensure that I am up-to-date.

You have an excellent plan in place. Since you are going to be offering EMT and Paramedic, your school will also need to be approved by the Florida Department of Health. I would strongly suggest that you add their rules and laws to your notebook as well.
Patty Aronoff
