Viviana,
That is awesome! Meetings should be an opportunity to share ideas and sort through different situations which we all will experience.

Adam,
Excellent! On a new venture, you will discover there are many reasons to meet regularly as you begin to sort out the daily operations.

jackie,
Meetings are a necessity these days. It is a way that we join together and share information.

I attend several meetings. We have meeting for each departments. We also have meetings that cover the things that take place on campus and also things that may be changing. I keep notes of all the meetings to be sure to go back if i need to.
My Director of Admission schedules team meetings once a month to review updated policies changes, admission goals, etc.
I attend company meetings in regards to making our system better. How we interact with our prospectives and how we can implement actions into making the overall experience memorable.
We, of course, have weekly staff meetings as well as other meetings with other departments. Such as financial aid, when something changes they get with us and explain it fully so we know the new rules and regulations. I often sit in on other meetings to learn what each department is doing and find it most helpful and insightful.
Admissions here at our school has daily meetings where we discuss topics of the day and compliance related to regulation, and best practices. There are also monthly meetings with the entire staff of the school to make sure that Admissions and Education are all on the same page. I learn about Education there.
I attend weekly meetings to stay current on things happening by department. I attend conferences to get trained on information and come back and share with my collogue, I also attend conference though web-can.
We have Monday meetings to discuss the following week.
I attend daily meetings for at least 15 minutes to catch up on each students data.
We tend to have meetings at least once a week, this way we know the status of each student.
Admissions meetings, Product knowledge meetings, Scrub meetings.
I attended weekly meetings for admissions, teacher and more. Sometime the time dose not allows me to do as much as I like.
Meetings are held with everyone in the institution so that there is no errors of information and are able to be kept updated with new changes that are going on.
every meeting that is scheudled I go to--whether it about IT, library, etc, i make sure I attedn all meeting (mandatory or not) to ensure I am up to speed with everything.
We have weekly meetings, stitch meetings and every department participates. Therefore, everybody knows where the Institution stands and ideas flow easily among each department, at the end we are all working towards the same goal. In addition, we have weekly admissions training to make sure everybody is on the same page, we share ideas and give solutions to specific situation we had encounter on that week.
Being that this is a new venture, we hold meetings on an on going basis to discuss as many issues as we possibly can so that any material not addressed can be adequately presented.
I attend regular staff meetings and advisory committee meetings.
Erika,
