All staff meetings held at campus are essential for staying in touch with admissions, student services and finance departments.

Diane,
I like your analogy! Information is important but taken better in small doses.

Erin,
The more we learn about the school, the more we become part of the entire student experience. The more we learn, the better we can serve our students.

Our team has regular monthly meetings and when new information comes out, we meet on a weekly basis.

It is important to keep up with information on a regular basis - otherwise it is like drinking from a firehose and hard to assimilate.

The admissions department at my school makes its a point to meet with other departments to keep up to date on important changes in policy as well as to stay connected to one another. We also meet with instructors so they can go over program information, new certifications we should be aware of, and any other information that would be prevalent to a student. This ensures our reps convey the right information along to the student in helping them make the decision thats best for them.

We have daily and weekly meetings to stay up to date.

We have meetings once every 2 wks with all departments so that we can build a team player positive attitude. So not only do we focus on admissions but we also learn more about education or FA for example.

OUr instructors have meetings daily. these can be informal discussions, or specific agenda items. i think the key is to communicate daily on anything that comes up during the course of the day.

Meetigs ensure the mission of the school is carried out. Also, it provides away for the each member to satay updated as to current procedures and potential changes for the future. effective meetings are a strong part of any business atmosphere. especially because it brings a team together for one common goal.
