Weekly product knowledge training will help to cultivate my learning in all areas such as admissions policies, regulatory requirements. I feel that in all these areas within any institution will be forever changing therefore it is very important to stay abreast.

We have meeting every two weeks with not only the Admissions department but as well as all other departments for example: Education and some professors. This does allow us to build as a team.

At our campus we have DAR (daily activity reports) that specify what we do on a daily basis, then we meet about it weekly, from there we have other meetings as in learning about updates from buildings repairs to marketing strategies i.e. college fairs in the area. So generally there is a weekly, bi-weekly, and annually meeting held.

Our admissions meets daily to discuss matters of the day. We also meet once a week for a dedicated admissions training.

We have daily "rallies" where we verbally update the team on any metrics, policies, or appointments that have been changed. We also have weekly meeting to discuss where our students are in the enrollment process, which actually helps us to learn certain regulations that relate to the students progress. We also have monthly scheduled practices and run throughs of presenting infomration the students.

We have 2 daily stand up meetings, weekly training meetings, trainings with departments when programs are updated or changes are made and quarterly campus meetings.

Lesley,
Meetings should clear up any confusion. That is why meetings should have the opportunity to ask questions.

Patty Aronoff

Erica,
Meetings are a way to develop the team. It is also an opportunity to learn and to ask questions.

Patty Aronoff

Erica,

Meetings can happen anytime, anyplace. It is an opportunity to learn and to develop..

Patty Aronoff

I think meeting are the only way to clear up any confusion. Its a way to get everyone on the same page and a great tool in clearing up misunderstandings

Meetings are also developed to check on status of faculty. Its important to know how the team is working and feeling about their jobs and how they feel about the students progressions.

All meetings are held at the beginning of each month. Some of them are brief, while others may be longer and more informative. As the director I will gather all information needed to be discussed and provide the updates for the institutions resource notebook and other faculty.

If there are unexpected updates, meetings can be called randomly depending on the urgency of the information needing to be updated.

Guy,

Being effective in admissions means more successful enrollments. When we are current in our knowledge and provide excellent service, our enrollment are better.

Patty Aronoff

Wendal,
Goals are definitely a part of admissions. It is a good opportunity to see where you're going what you have accomplished and what you need assistance with.

Patty Aronoff

Kasandra,
We must operate as a team. Team members hold the department together and are support when we need it.

Patty Aronoff

Jeffrey,

It is really all in the details. By going to meetings and learning more of the detailed information, you are providing a better information bank to your students.

Patty Aronoff

Elyse,

You are so right! You are building a community within your school which makes all our jobs so much easier because we are working together.

Patty Aronoff

Yesenia,

That is a great attitude to have. Many people have a dislike of meetings and lose an opportunity to grow and learn.

Patty Aronoff

rosaura,

That is an excellent practice. Meetings give us opportunities to increase our knowledge thus providing a better service to our students.

Patty Aronoff

Timothy,

Meetings are way to communicate. They are opportunities to ask questions and learn details.
