It's only my 3rd day but I have been sitting in and listening to other agents during their meetings with prospective students and there seems to be a lot of information as well as a power point presentation. It is well prepared to acknowledge and answer questions
This has not been part of my training yet in the past couple of days, but I do hope that it will be because I think it will be beneficial for me to be able to prepare knowledgable and honest responses to student questions.
Yes and this was part of our initial training session the first week
I agree our website, is very comprehensive as it relates to frequently asked questions. I would like to compile, the most frequently disscussed, for our weekly staff meetings.
We discuss prospective students' frequently asked questions at the weekly meetings.
Yes, we are provided with an FAQ handbook as well as accessable information on our website and catalog. The information is constantly being updated to be as current and up to date as possible.
Not only does our school provide FAQ's from students, but also detailed responses on how to best answer and assist our students. I find the information very useful.
My school does provide all the answers neccessary
This is usually covered during our weekly meeting but if a student has a specific questions we usually refer them to the Student's Right to Know section or the school catalog.
Yes the school does provide answers to all questions that student may have.
Yes we actually have a packet that we can provide parents about FAQ's. We also have some standard FAQ's we typically go over with the families too.
Yes, we do have helpful hints for frequently asked questions. There is an enormous emphasis now regarding appropriate responses with the gainful employment and student right to know acts
Absolutely, we have a solid week of trianing which consists of five 8 hour days of lecturing, reviewing, roll-playing and classroom interaction. Almost a full day is spent on rules and regulations. We then have about 2 hours of studying (reviewing) on our own in the evenings. Once we return from the week of intial training we then have weekly training during our meetings and daily training we refer to as "huddles"
Yes, this is a list that is constantly being updated and changed, as the questions we receive now are very different from ones I may have encountered in the past.
My company is very careful in the wording of their answers and I am told specifically what I can and cannot say.
If I am asked a question beyond the scope of my training (for instance, a question about specific tax deductions) I give the prospective students a disclaimer that I am not a licensed tax adviser and encourage them to discuss their questions with someone who is.
We don't seem to have a direct form called FAQs but most, if not all, of the frequently asked questions our school can be answered by the school Catalog & "Student's Right to Know" link on our website. I believe a direct link to an FAQs page may be beneficial to point out as well.
The school provides a couple of different resources; one such resource being Employee Feedback through recruiting their own personal experience working in their position and in working with Prospective Students. As far as I am aware, there isn't a FAQ resource guide currently on our Campus for this particular topic; however, there is access to training material, such as booklets and CDs to help address potential FAQs during the Admissions Process. The best example that I can collect would be the initial Phone Script that begins the initial Admissions Process. This resource gives the Rep strategies to deal with possible objections that a Prospect may have, which in turn are common FAQs, such as "how much will this program or my education cost?" This is the best example of a tangible resource; however at this point, the best source of providing answers to those FAQs are through personally mentoring seasoned Reps who have dealt with FAQs in the Admissions Process.
We are a much smaller school than most but we do have questions that I am asked often, we deal with more teen-agers so our questions may be different than in other schools.
Yes, we have meeting every Tuesday morning and we go over FAQ and compliance. It is very helpful to do roundtables about FAQ also because there is so many different situations that arise so it is good to get others opinions on how they handle different situations.
Yes, we have a meeting every Tuesday morning also where we discuss FAQ and compliance.
No. We feel that each student has their own situations and individual questions.
Yes, our school does supply us with frequently asked questions so we can reply quickly and accurately to student’s questions. This way there is no mistake made by over promising and creating unrealistic expectations, or under delivering by not providing students with quick and accurate answers.
