Yes. Answers to FAQs are provided to me both in writing and also via the school's website about questions that prospective students may ask.

yes. my school has a very good training program. They make sure that all representatives are well trained. I think the "frequently asked questions" are always great to have on a website.

Yes they do but we try to answer questions before they are even asked. I've found that most student have pretty much the same concerns and questions.

Currently we do not use a list of FAQ's during the admissions process. However, I believe this to be an excellent idea and could clarify some areas that prospective students may be too timid to ask about. Does anyone have a set of FAQ's they use currently, that I might review? It would be a good starting point for us.

In my admissions department there is a handbook established that will provide the admissions representative with a quick reference to commonly asked questions. This tool is very helpful and should be used on a regular basis, especially when asked

Yes they provide prescribed statements and the most current data for reps to use in their interactions with prospective students and parents. An example would be regarding availability of financial aid and how to apply. We would typically respond FA is available to those who qualiify. We refer questions to our FA dept. For assistance in completing the FAFSA app we refer students and families to the FA Processing Center, an outside company contracted with to help the student complete their FAFSA. We also provide them with a website for more information.

Yes...We have ongoing training to enhance our product knowledge as well as updates on any policy or regulatory changes.

Yes. We all get an Admissions Rep Manual that has detailed information in it. We also have extensive training.

That seams harsh, I hope they are offering you training all year to prepare for this make you or break you test.

Our School has Monday and Friday training sessions every week to discuss potential obstacles and stay up to date on policies. We have also has specific training on the typical questions asked by student and how to deliver compliant answers.

Yes! Our staff represents quality in communicating answers to frequently asked questions. I can go to the managers, Director, and the president of our organization if needed.

Beyond that, at our admissions meetings we occasionally do role playing where one member of the admissions staff pretends to be a prospect asking tough questions. And then, as a group we discuss the admissions rep's answer and determine if it could have been better.
