When conducting interviews most students do not know or are not familiar with the school enrollment agreements, however this is why it is great for our admissions agents to be up to speed and to date regarding state and federal requirements. This is an important part to our position, because we should properly inform our students of all requirments for enrollment.

I find they never to rarely ask questions about policies int eh enrollment agreement. But it is important to tell them to review the enrollment agreement.

I have found that most student's do not even read the enrollment agreement. I have gone many different routes with making sure they understand what they are signing. From almost reading it word for word to them, to paraphrasing, to reminding them to read it. It always ends the same. I do not understand why students sign something without reading it. All policies and procedures are located in the enrollment agreement from return policies to financial aid policies but students will still assume and form their own opinion and what they think is correct.

I have had alot of exp. as an Admissions officer and the key question is about tuition on the Enrollment Agreement.

I agree that the enrollment agreement does cause some anxiety. I think the prospective students view it as a "contract"; contracts can definitely cause anxiety.

I have found so far that it is not the student that has questions about the admissions prcoess but the parents who ask the questions. To be able to show them exactly where to find an answer to the question in the enrollment agreement is important and relieves their anxiety.

I truly feel is you do a thorough job explaining the school, following the 10 step process, program, career services, financial aid, etc with the prospective student, they will not have anxiety when it comes time to the application/enrollment agreement period and I don't get many questions asked to me. At that point, they tell me I've already answered most everything to them.

I know that the enrollment agreement DOES cause anxiety for alot of our students...however if everything is explained to your student in detail and comfortably, the should should be a whole lot LESS likely to become anxious over that part of the process.

Being a new hire, I do have the opportunity to sit in on many appointments and the interview process is so thorough and covers a lot of information that once we get into the enrollment agreement the student has had the opportunity to ask any questions that may have arose. However, once we do get to the enrollment process, we carefully go over each piece of paper work in the process, beginning with the enrollment agreement, we go over the front of it in detail and make sure the student understands the length of time the program takes, and then on the back we go into more detail about the rprogram such as cost and placement rates. We make sure that the student fully understands the enrollment agreement by having the initial each section as we cover it together.

No the students do not ask alot questions because at our scholl it is a must thst you exsplain to the student line by line when it comes to the enrollment agreement.

Yes they do, usually concerning costs, cancellations and refund policies.

My students do not ask many questions about the enrollment agreement. I ask them if they have questions during the interview process. Watch the students facial expressions and body language. That says it all even if they are afraid to ask questions.

Absolutly not, I find the student ask very little about policies or statements contained in the enrollment agreement. This is why we must cover the cost, refund policies, and cancellations.

No, I find that they do not ask a whole lot of questions during the process. I do feel like they are well informed of the info in the agreement though. I feel this way because there are certain areas that we have to cover with them pertaining to the enrollment agreement.

Some do and others do not. It depends on how well the student has retain the information and on how well both the recruitment and financial aid departments informed the potential student.

I find that students are not asking questions about the process with the enrollment agreement. Our admissions department walks the students through the process to make sure they have an understanding on the enrollment agreement.

No. Too often (especially when doing something online) students just breeze through it just to complete the process. By the time they have gotten to the enrollment agreement, it's been with them for a minimum of 2 hours and they are ready for it to be over. That's why we are as thorough as possible throuout the process

usually just general questions.

No. The enrollment agreement is very straight forward and easy to understand. Going through this with the student ensures a comfort level that processes are in place, guidelines exist, and that compliance is critical.

Very rarely will a student ask a question about the policies in the EA.
