yes we do but I dont like them because the information alot of times is not correct

We do have that as a resource available to contact interested parties.

Social Networks have opened a whole new type of communication between the school and student. Students are a lot more open when they are on social networks which has allowed schools who fit this in their marketing plan to relate to students on a more personal level. Social networks also help build a sense of family/friend atomosphere that allows students to feel more support in their efforts to change thier life.

I do believe that social networking is a great way to promote a company. As technology changes, so must the way a company advertises or operates. It is important to have an internet presence. With the growth of social networking, what better way to get one's name out and to recruit people. I know on a personal level, I use Facebook alot to promote various restaurants that I like and get a lot of my friends and family to try them out. So, yes...I think social networking is a way to advance. It certainly cannot hurt.

Yes, we use Facebook and Twitter. We try to update/post new information at least weekly on Facebook and daily on Twitter.

On Facebook there are quite often posts from our instructors or alumni. We have found social networking is a great tool for former students to stay in touch and to educate and attract future students.

These social networking sites, have allowed faster access to potential students and free ways to advertise and spread the word. One of the down sides to social sites is that anyone can post anything about your college and prospects may decline to come in and formally meet with you based on what they've heard or seen.

I feel it is extremely important and almost mandatory to use social networking sites. Current students can keep up with what is happening on campus and can be used as a marketing tool for potential students.

Social networking sites can play an important role for students. Students like to be engaged with their staff and instructors and one outlet they like to utilize is facebook.

Yes and I feel that it is a great way to communicate events and other important information about the college. That is where our students spend alot of their time therefore it is a very effective means of communication.

I think social networking sites are an underutilized source for my school. I haven't seen much out there on the school I work for, but I have seen some schools listed. I think it will be the waive of the future. SNS are a great way to reach students that might not have felt they would have been a good fit for colleg.

We have actually just started using facebook and it has done nicely but no we have not did any marketing with these social networking sites.

Our school utilizes social media. I think it is an easy way to get information out to our current students as well as prospective students. It is important to reach out to students/prospective students in a manner that they are comfortable with and social media is definitely the latest trend.

We do utilizes Facebook, Twitter, etc. It is interesting to see how prospective and current students both use social media to communicate w/ the school and with one another.

as of right now we do not use social networking sites

Using a Social Networking Site would be very beneficial. We do not use Facebook or Twitter, however I believe we might be willing to persue this avenue later this year. It seems like a great way to get the information to the students faster.

As of right now. No we do not have any social networking sites

It has a huge inpact on how we market. Our school has a facebook and twitter account. You have to stay up to date with the technology that the students are using. If you don't you will get left behind.

I think that socail networking sites have played a major role in how students get their information. It covers a lot of ground quickly. I beleive my school does. I have used it in other areas for other situations and I have seen great results. I think at the same time it can either make or break you. These forms of communication are always available and easy to find if it needs to be accessed.

Our school is very dilligant with social networking. We have recently hired several indiviudals who update the social networking sites by the minute.

It is definitely in many cases an untapped resource to communicate with students. Social Networking is going nowhere and will only continue to grow and expand.
