Having accreditation provides a sense of security for the potential student. Their main focus is to have a successful career. Although we can't gaurantee employment, we can provide the facts that will help the student feel confident about our programs. Being accredited sets a standard for the schools expectation of excellence.

Another advantage ifor being accredited is that it shows the type of expectation we set for our students. Brown Mackie College chooses to recieve the appropriate accreditation for the school and certain programs. This college expects our students to work to the best of their ability and we should set the example by working to the best of our ability.

Accreditation is very important to the student because it builds trust, knowing that the intuition is following rules and regulations required by law.

The opportunity to transfer in credits from other same accreditted schools, which will help overall graduation rates for students, and lower their overall costs, and time to completion.

School and programmatic accreditation allows our school the comfort in knowing that we are providing a quality service to our students. On a personal level, it is a great comfort that I can proudly respond to any questions regarding accreditation.

In the past I worked for a non-accredited institute and it was extremely difficult on enrollment, as students were unable to afford it. It's becoming more challanging for students to receive loans, and even more of an obstacle for some of them to pay loans back. Now I am with an accredited institute and the students and parents seem so much more at ease with the decision of attending school and how they can finance it; students have more opportunities for interships and post-graduation jobs because of the schools positive reputation it has built over the years.

It adds quality to our programs, classes and the whole school. Meeting accreditation standards has maximized our teams efforts to always improve and offer our students more. It makes us strive to be a better school and not just meet minimum standards but to try and constantly raise the bar or expectations.

As an employee of an accredited school I and my fellow employees take great pride in our accreditation status. Also, the student can feel confident they will get a good, quality education because of our accreditation. In addition, being accredited gives our school a good reputation in the community. This may assist our students in obtaining employment if the employer knows the student graduated from a quality educationl program.

My school has found that being accredited we show that we are a legitimate school. This can be difficult sometimes when parents have never heard of your school. Being accredited is a huge advantage for us.

Students may be able to transfer credits;
Faculty and staff need to be careful when speaking about the school to prospective students and always be truthful about everything;
and many employer look more kindly upon accredited schools.

The school I work for offers nursing programs, so it is very important for job propecting that my school is accredited. Certain hospitals and employers require that the job prospect graduate from a school with a certain accreditation in order to show that the student has been taught under those required quidelines.

I have found that many employers value a school that is accredited. Many employers have this as a requirement before the perspective employee is hired and thus proves that having accreditation may help the student after graduation get into the career of their choice.

Positive reputation and accredidation has a huge impact on a school keeping it's doors open and maintaining a growing student population.

I think students really like to know they are going to an accredited school. It gives the student a sense of pride to know they going to an accredited school.

I think accreditation makes your school more credible. It lets other institutions know that you have some credibility. Plus it can assist students in employment depending on the requirements of the employer.

It has allowed our school to continue to uphold it's integrity and therefore give the student the quality education they want. Also it helps our graduates obtain a job since they graduated from an accredited school- does not guarantee employment but it sure helps them.

We are a school that promotes sound ethics and morals in business. Our consistent program evaluations allow for quality improvement and accountability.

Our program is currently not an accredited program. This is a topic that we have recently discussed - adding accredition to either all or some of our programs. At this point we will continue to monitor and research the value for the markets we are in as well as the size of our training programs. As our organization grows, we will continue to evaluate adding accreditation to our programs.

I am employed by a for-profit college. Unfortunately, for-profit colleges have received quite a bit of negative press in the recent months. By pointing out our many accreditations, both institutional and programmatic, it helps to reinforce that despite the negative press, our college is compliant with all state and federal guidelines and that the student will receive a great education that will lead to a great career.

Students and parents are very excited about our Regional Accredidation. Reason being, the students may be eligible for Federal Funding based on need.

Many times younger potential students do not fully understand the importance of a college having appropriate accreditation, but their parents do. Parents want to know that their investment is for a quality education. Most importantly, they don't want to lose money if earned credits cannot transfer between institutions.
