Keep good records of communication, especially with the disruptive students. Talk with them privately. Encourage students and remind them to stay on task. Time management is a hard issue in distance learning. We always think we have plenty of time, and then it's due and we haven't started...
I've learned that the communication is the key for student success. Additionally, constructive, regular feedback and counseling are also important in student e- learning environment.

I learned that similiar to the traditional classroom seting you will find all different types of students-noisy, quiet, disruptive, intimidators and procrastinators in an e-learning setting. As the instructor, it is important to monitor those behaviors, offer support or curb them if necessary to maintain a productive, collaborative and engaging learning environment for all students.
I learned that communcations with students should be kept properly. In addition, record keeping must be simple and effective.
This section provided good information about the different learning behaviors of students and gives viable information about providing communication when directing feedback for certain behaviors. All in which is very important for the success of student learning and participation in an e-learning environment.
Know your students and the methods that they use to learn. Keep records for all your students. I suggest creating an Individual folder for all your students.

Learn the importance of behavior management, the students/learners’ will bring with them their behavioral traits inherent to their personality to the e-learning environment. Such as noisy, quiet, disruptive and procrastinators. Also learned about major causes of conflicts and that it is important to refer to the institutional policies and procedures for guidelines that must be followed to resolve conflicts. Finally, in attrition management as an instructor, to do all possible for the students/e-learners dropout be avoiding excessive workload competition and especially technical issues.
In my experience with students whether online or in the classroom setting rules and guidelines early is a given. But, most of the times you may loose a student through troubles at home or through some form of addiction, whatever the case may be. Make every effort to maintain there attendance. In my situation I find that if a student is struggling due to the distractions I would guide them to the school counselor, or have them sign up for class at a better date when they can focus on their education.
One role of the instructor is to be aware of the online students behavior and to address it with appropriate actions.
It is imperative that we as teachers do our best to keep students in the program. If we identify problems early we can keep small problems from becoming big ones. We must also keep careful records to protect ourselves, our institution and the student.
The different types of e-learners is quite interesting. Distance learning teachers must do all that they can to encourage all types of students to be involved and active in their learning, but sometimes a student just isn't ready for the program. Sometimes students need to address more immediate issues then return to try again.
making sure individua and custom attention to each student so they dont feel alienated.
Some student may challenge you and you must be able to identify and make corrections to ensure good flow of your class. Follow school protocol for distruptive students.
