Marlon,
Excellent! Whichever way that you assemble your book, it is up to you. What is important that you know where the material is and how to access it.

Keeping a binder with different sections makes it much easier to find documents and answers when needed.

I have created a binder with all the paperwork and guidelines. Im organizing it by sections where I will include the main aspects I need to know about each department in my institution. I keep it right on top of my desk.
I am constructing binders using all of the information being given to me, including the training modules, regulations, policies and procedures. I think that it will be helpful to access these binders as a quick reference when questions arise. I am always looking for ways to better organize myself and make my job flow smoothly.

Our admissions department has a binder for every admissions representative which includes all of the documentation and programs that we offer. After we tour the prospective student through the campus and we verbally give them all of the information pertinent regarding accredition, and the services all other departments offer, we bring them into our office and explain their program of study they are interested in and we give them all the documentation including admissions application, enrollment agreement, program of study, you ask the prospective student for their id there proof of prior education and you have them pay their proper fees for admissions then you have them see the other departments that they need to deal with in order to complete their admission process.
I will create an organized binder that has sections with tabs so that I may easily reference the material when needed.

LaShon,
Binders are a great way to maintain the material. If you don't like the way it is laid out, you can quickly fix it. Taking out the old and bringing in the new is also very easy.

I make sure that I am keeping all information that is current in a binder so that I can refer back to the information as needed.
