Elizabeth,

Smaller schools have the opportunity of strong personalization not only between students but also staff.

You have a unique perspective with your experience as a student. Build upon that asset and share with others in the school.

Marisel,

We do need to believe in what we are doing. If we do not, people can see right through the picture we are painting.

I am very happy to see so many satified Students everyday coming out of their classes.

I rate myself as having excellent knowledge about my institution as Campus Director, as I was previously an instructor as well. Plus, I am also a Paramedic and that is one of our classes here.

I would rate the knowledge about my institution as great! I know about all the programs, mainly the Paramedics and EMT because the instructors here are actual Paramedics.

Completing this section helped me realize working at a small school has benefits! In many ways the small environment makes it easier to stay up to date on program/institutional changes and communicate regularly fellow employees.

I feel my knowledge of my institution is very good, but we live in a very high paced, changing society now and need to be diligent in researching new rules. Our institution is very good about mandatory training, CE courses and faculty development/training.
I am on this site as my institution has made it mandatory, and boy am I happy! I keep learning things that I was "fuzzy" on, and in this role, you have to be crystal clear with what is said so no one is mislead.

I know quite a bit about my school - probably all there is to know. I originally enrolled as a student 13 years ago and have worked in several campuses over the years.

I know that the institute where I work is Nationally Accredited by the Council on Occupational Education and Licensed by Commission on Independent Education. We are also Approved by the Florida Board of Nursing. We offer two programs; Licensed Practical Nurse and the LPN to RN Bridge Program.

I would rate my institution knowledge as B+, after finishing module 3 I was able to see things differently, I also grasped some ideas, like for example: to participate in some classes to learn more about particular subjects; to learn more about how the different departments work in my school such as Financial Aid, or the career services. I believe in my school, I know after completing my training I’ll be better equipped to assist prospective students.

Since we are small school, I like to involve myself as much as I can in all school departments--to try to learn from everybody from school director to the faculty body. Sometimes I even seat in a class to learn a little bit more about a particular subject. Since I am an Admissions representative, I guide prospective school applicants through the application and admission process by helping them to assess their skills, education and career goals in order to choose the best educational program. I realized that to be an effective admissions representative, you need to believe in what you are doing and also share the same vision with your school to provide the best educational opportunity for each new student in your school.
