Helmi,

Even though topics may seem repetitive, there is always something to learn. Ask a few questions or share an experience to keeping the discussion going.

Marice,
Sounds awesome! Training with the program directors should be ongoing so that admissions staff are well informed on product knowledge.

Patty Aronoff

Crystal,
Fridays seems to be the best day for admissions training. Many schools start the day on Friday with training.

Patty Aronoff

Curtis,

Excellent! It takes a whole school to create a graduate. Having a series of meetings involving the whole school keeps staff focused.

Patty Aronoff

Marcos,

Excellent! Meetings keep the team together and compliant. Very necessary in today's admission world.

Patty Aronoff

Catherine,

Teams are critical today. We must work together in order to steer away from people working against each other.

Patty Aronoff

Mary,
Meetings are important so that everyone stays on the same page and that we learn continually as a school.

Our team has a quick meeting every morning to review what we did the day before. We also have a quarterly meeting to review policies are requirements, in addition to our weekly compliance review of phone calls.

We have 2 weekly meetings. Monday afternoon at 2:00 and Friday @ 4:00. During these meetings we discuss the afforementioned topics, as well as have occasional "product knowledge" sessions with different professors.

We have daily meetings, and product knowlege training weekly to keep us current.

I attend weekly admissions meetings, monthly directors meetings and periodic training seminars.

Our team has weekly meetings were a number of topics are covered. Sometimes things may seem repetitive but i understand thier are new people who may or may not understand. It's also good as a refresher and in some cases a constant reminder.

Our team has meeting's every friday morning for an hour. We discuss policies, best practices, things to work on, students, etc

We have meeting regularly, Admissions Meeting right after every program start. We also attend trainings with with Directors of each programs, where we are explained and taught everything about the programs.

Our team has weekly meetings that include the entire admissions team and the other executive team members. Additionally we have a bi-weekly training that allows for updating policies, procedures, regulations or role play of these items if there is not an update. This has been helpful in sharing best practices. Typically, our Department chairs participate in these to help with their understanding of our department.

In my institution we have weekly Admission meeting and monthly campus meetings. In our weekly meetings, we train and discuss different rules and regulation and any kind of changes made. Our monthly campus meeting is a more general scenario to discuss institution wide changes.

Unfortunately due to turnover of staff in the last year we are yet to establish regular team meetings for the new team. This is something I think is crucial, and will be driving, when developing a new small team and to ensure everyone understands what is going on in the center, as well as each others work schedules. If someone is heading for a very busy period and your work is quieter then helping each other out helps build a solid team.

All are the best, The most important are the weekly meeting to find out any changes, we have both weekly and monthly meeting on Admissions and what we can and cannot discuss with student on financing,Requirements and changes in Accreditation.

richard,

Sounds like you have a solid communication link between all staff. Use those opportunities to learn and develop.
