We meet with program directors twice per year, advisory boards twice per year and stay current with the course catalog

I attend several meetings a month that focus on career advising, placement and retention. Additionally, I keep abreast of the educational policies that are in place at the local and federal level. About twice a year I participate in educational trainings to be better equipped to perform my job. At my institution, brief weekly meetings help keep us on track and aware of changes that effect our department, our students and the institution.

Meetings are the best and really help you to acknowledge what is going on around you and your performance as a rep.

I am cross training with Admissions. I am the registrar. I get my training through staff meetings, admissions representatives and online courses. The Vice President of Operations and Academic Affairs is a wealth of knowledge around our institution.

I plan to attend any and all that I am able too. Knowledge is the key.

Hello Patty,

For our school we have daily, weekly, and monthly admissions meetings. We also have a weekly management meeting with all department heads to share victories and challenges. Every year we are sent on admissions training's in Utah to learn more about our role and department.

Austin,
No matter what the size of the institution we should know all the policies and procedures.

Bob,

Townhall meetings are a way for staff and administration to talk together about several issues that may be observed at the institution or even opportunities to congratulate each other. It depends on how the town hall meeting is established.

Patty Aronoff

Dana,
Lunch and learn opportunities are a welcoming way to eat lunch and learn something new.

Patty Aronoff

We have daily meetings in Admissions with the Director Campus, making sure we are up to date with policies, documents or any changes we need to make to improve productivity.
I also attend Networking Events and Education meetings.

Being that our institution is small, our staff wear many hats. Sometimes it is very difficult to find time for meetings. But we find we run so much smoother through out the week if we are all in tune.

Our weekly meeting address all area's-admissions, and idea's for improving appointments, sharing all current enrollment data. These meetings make for a great team building experience.

I attend monthly meetings, faculty meetings, student evaluations meetings, advisory board meetings, annual CIE meetings, and clinical site meetings.

We have several meetings that are beneficial in learning all departments. We have weekly monthly and quarterly download meetings. We do a "town Hall" the last Tuesday of each month as well as a weekly kickoff meeting

At my institution, I attend regularly scheduled lunch and learn sessions that cover a variety of topics.
