I believe a large binder with labels on each item is the best way to keep organized with all of the different forms

I have a large binder with the state rules and regulations in it, the policies and procedures of the admissions department and a checklist of the admissions process, according to state and my college's rules. I have also spent some time with financial aid so I have some general knowledge to answer questions. It is important to keep organized so that you can quickly and accurately answer students questions

I am creating a folder with multiple labels as I progress through training. It's helpful to print the materials during the training process and review them in real time.

Very important to sit through financial aid interviews as well. I sit through atleast one per month or in many cases depending on the student me being involved in each step through the process puts the student at ease that i am there for them through the whole process

I did what most did as far has getting a binder, color coating the different sectiosn Rules, Regualtions, Tuittion, Fin. Aid, Rquirements, Agreements, Refunds, etc. and then broke those individual tabs down even more. I also plan on setting up a meeting with the Director of Admissions, to review everything and go over with a fine tooth comb to make sure that all bases are covered. I also plan on unionizing all of our binders from past years to review and now past history as well. This will hopefully make me better at my position and answer any questions that eith employees are students might have about us since this is one of the most important steps

I plan on organizing all this information in a single binder. I plan on putting tabs for each subject so that I can access them easier when I am stuck on a question. I also plan to review all information with my supervisior to make sure that I have the best understanding of my job duties.

I am always a very organized person. I have binders that are color coordinated and have tabs that title all of the different sections. I have the most important parts high lighted so I can locate them quickly and efficiently.

Binders have been the best way for me. Just keeping them up to date with changes and making sure outdated material is replaced. I find it easier to use a binder than keeping everything in a computer file.

I love the binder idea with examples! We also have a checklist that goes in the front of each enrollment process, that helps to make sure you have every item that you need in the student's folder. I try to go through and highlight all the areas the student needs to fill out before they come in, and that helps me to make sure I haven't forgotten to get a signature anywhere.

I also have a large binder with the state rules and regulations. I also plan on using a checklist. There area lot of great ideas and suggestions that I plan on using!

I agree that this is a great idea. Being involved with anything you are not an expert at can always be beneficial.

I put all of the information i need in a binder so that it is in order and easily accessible. i also will be creating a checklist that I can go through every time I have an interview with a prospective student.

Organization as well as consistency are two KEY factors in the admissions process!

A way to organize all the paperwork and information related to completing the admissions process according to state guidelines is keep the information in a binder or in files with specific tabs and identification labels (such as table of context and an index) to help locate specific information.

At my campus we utilize a checklist to make sure all paperwork in completed, signed, and completed. Upon presentation of paperwork we are required to go through a check list and once completed sign and date material

I printed out all the necessary information and put it all into a binder.

It helps build credibility to the enrollment process and allows for a smooth transition to finance.

All of the staff members here are trained on what documents must be included in the admisssions files. We have 3 people check off on the files after they are completed inorder to ensure that every thing is in there and signed that needs to be. The first signature comes from the Admissions rep, the second comes from the enrollment processor and the 3rd comes from the admissions director. After it is signed off of we will put the application in the systema nd then the file is audited again by a records representative.

During our training process, we meet all departments to gain information about processes and programs. We sit FA, they sit with us. We learn some information fron program directors and they our process of determing a future graduate. This helps everyone.

Once this information is learned, it will better assist in explaining the enrollment process leading into Financial Aid as well.
