It is important to be aware of the different sources that your students access.

I think it's important to know and review my school's advertising and marketing material because, essentially, that is what is going to help me sell the programs that my school offers.

It is important to not only review marketing material, but to stay up to date with the material as well. This is important because by determining how we are reaching our students will help us plan for marketing strategies in the future, and it also gives us insight into the prospective student. To better field their questions, we should be informed on the information stated in the advertisement so that we are prepared.

Assisting the prospective student in every possible way is very important for us as agents. Also being knowledgable about the advertisments about our school so that when the student comes in to discuss what they liked we are aware of what they are talking about.

It is important to review your school's advertisements and marketing material because you want to be familiar with what your company is putting out there. For example, if a prospective student mentions that they saw a certain flyer about the school it is imperative that you know about this flyer and what was written on it so you can back up the information. Also, being familiar with the laws and regulations for your school's marketing material you will know what if the school is following those laws and regulations.

Often the advertising and marketing materials of a school are the basis of a prospective student's knowledge. It is important to realize the point of view a prospective student may have so as an agent I can make sure that I am correctly representing all aspects of my school and its programs.

It is important in order to fully understand what you are going to be discussing with prosepctive students. It is very necessary to familiarize yourself with what is being advertised simply because students will be asking you about what advertisements they saw or heard about.

It's important to know the product you're trying to sell. When prospective students have questions about a tv commercial or ads in the newspaper, you want to make sure you know what you're talking about.

It's helpful to be familiar with these tools incase students come in and are talking about an event that was on the radio or tv. We need to know what they are talking about and be able to assist them.
Also, knowing about your school's marketing can help you know which program is the best fit for your students and giving them a professional recommendation.

I couldnt agree more. If you do not know the correct information regarding your schools programs and basic knowledge, then we cannot fully assist the prospective student. This is an extremely important topic!

We must constantly keep our marketing material fresh and accurate in effort to attract potential students that can benefit from the training.

Informatin is always changing, no matter if it is program names, classes required new programs added or disclosure updated. It is important to say current with all marketing and advertisin matterial in order to relay this important information to our students. Ways to do this is keeping an binder on current material, and ask questions if you are unsure of anything before disucssing with a student. Misinformation can be deadly

Understading the advertising and marketing materials helps in understanding the tone that school uses in the community and how it addresses FAQs.

One of the first questions I ask prospective student is "how they heard about us". A lot of them say the TV commercials. That lets me know how effective the commercials are. When I get a lead that says they did not mean to to inquire they were just completing a application or updating their resume it tells me this form of advertising needs to be tweaked and is not so effective.
