Each of us must developa strategy for dealing with the stress we face every day.  In order to do this I find time to relax away from the workplace.  Enjoying simple pleasures have given me a great sense of calm that helps me in all facets of life.

Wow!  I was very impressed with the learning modules in ED104; I have learned so many valuable and interested techniques in how to keep different type of learners engaged in the classroom.  ED104 teaches different methods on how to diffuse different type of personalities from dealing with angry students, center-stage students, and how to motivate students in preparation in succeeding their future career goals.   

This was great information on how to deal with students with learning disaabilities. I now have a better underst anding and can continue to help my students succeed toward their future goal

I enjoyed the information from this course and picked up  good points that I can now take back to the classroom. This will help me improve on helping my students with their future goals.

This was a great introduction to online training, setting up structure and how to engage.  I am collaborating on writing my first online course and know that the information learned will benefit my students a lot.

I feel that this course provided a clearly defined protocol for developing learning objectives.  In order to be an effective instructor, you must first have the objectives clearly stated.  This will assist you in providing an organized and detailed lesson plan that will be easy for students to follow.

I feel with this course I have a better understanding of different motivating factors for adult students. I will definitly use some of the suggestions I learned in the course. Student motivation is key to success; without it the learning process can be difficult. Knowing how and what works best to motivate adult learners makes me a better instructor.

  I enjoy this course. I realized that some of the things that worry me at the beginning were normal. I also learn how important it is to spend the time to learn the student’s names. I will recommend this course especially to new instructors. 

My students love the games! Today is the last week of class and I want them to go out with a bang! So, I think I'll try a combination of games today. I'm going to have them play a game I've created called Pronunciation B. I start the game with placing students in two groups. I then write a medical word on the white board. One learner from each team must pronounce the word correctly who ever pronounces it correctly receives the point and around of applause. They love the competition and they feel credible because they're able to speak medical terminology!!… >>>

Looks like this course could be useful to all of us in the understanding of how to improve the use of types of questions.  We need all the tools that we can get to expand the student"s training. 

Active learning has helped me a lot as I am both a student and an instructor.  I have implemented it in both aspects and it has helped me retain information better than before as a student and has also allowed me to better explain concepts to students.  Thank you.

I recently completed ED Course 107. I found this course to be very useful. It gave me more ideas in improving my

teaching styles to be more effective as a teacher.

I recently completed ED105 and I have gained a tremendous amount of information that I am utilizing in my classroom. The choice of media being determined by the course content has provided me with valuable insights. Activities that I have seen in my class I can now put a name to and understands the root cause. I will become a better facilitator because of the content of this course.

I just finished ED104, and found it informative. However, on a completely different subject, my students took their EPA certification test yesterday. This morning was a terrible let-down, when I saw the results. I have the standard study packet, video, and sample questions. I covered all the material daily for five days prior to the test. Still the results were horrible. I tell all my students, we teach the information they will need to figure out any problem they may encounter in the field. I learned alot from the class on time management, and also learning how to deal with stress in a healthier manner. I will keep applying the resources I have learned so that things do not become overwhelming as much anymore.

I had an encounter with stress in 2007, I was to the point where I was losing control of my bowels. I went to the doctor three times that week. The first time I was 184pds. by wednesday when I went I was 178, the last time I went I was 166. I was admitted into the hospital and treated for stressed out neurons in my stomach. I really liked the information on how to deal with managing your own emotions. This can become very difficult when dealing with adult learners.

This was a good module for me. I especially like the parts about dealing with different generstions of students. It helped me refine the way I communcate with my students online and also showed me the importance of himproving my communication and writing/grammar skills online.
