Dorian,
Great. If we did this successfully for all students, we'd have accomplished a lot!

Barry Westling

I believe the goal of educating students is the show them all of the opportunities available in their field of choice as well as preparing for the work world.

Tawana,
I think there are at least two levels. Of course, getting the skills and knowledge to safely work effectively in the caeer area, but also conveying soft skills and professionalism that can help both in the work setting and in the students personal life.

Barry Westling

In my opinion the goal of educating students is to provide them with lessons of skill and/or life experience that which they can use in society.

Marco,
Yes, this is good. For me, I feel if I can convey the skills and knowledge my students need, and also give them a perspective about the needed professionalism and soft skillls required for most work settings, I will have achieved my part in acdvancing my students career and possibly contributed to a better life and future for them.

Barry Westling

To ensure that they are prepared to add a bit more of enlightenment and preparedness to pretty much they encounter overall. It is a sense of connecting with them and also ecnourage them to work ethically and appropriately, even as they move forth after graduation.

Michael,
Great. Good instruction, soft skills (attendance, punctuality, grooming, language), theory and knowledge will best help our students be well prepared.

Barry Westling

my goal is to prepare them for a long career in an automotive field.
Michael

Marcy,
True, it is a foundation...for which to grow from. With solid foundation, new experiences will emerge as the graduate progresses into a seasoned worker.

Barry Westling

The goal of education is to give students the knowledge to build a foundation for there future career.

Justian,
Great. A sense of accomplishment should bring pride in a job well done. Skills, knowledge, and behavior appropriate for the profession propel students into good, long-lasting jobs.

Barry Westling

My goal to make my students the best that they can be in their field.I try to make sure when they are finished with their course, they are confident in their knowledge and use of their skills. I try to make them feel proud of their accomplishments.

Angie,
Good. Of course the ultimate goal is assure students have gained the requisite skills and knowledge required for success on the job. And that includes soft skills as well.

Barry Westling

My goal in educating students is to have patience & check to see how each student learns. Once I determine what is needed for the students to grasp the information, I continue with my lectures by using my materials.

Randy,
Yes, soft skills are important. I think bot soft skills and course specific skills are equally valuable to students understanding expectations, getting, and keeping a job.

Barry Westling

I believe that the goal of educating students is more soft skill training then it is on learning to comprehend the subject matter. If a student cares about their education and wants to succeed they will do whatever it takes to comprehend the subject matter.

Give the student the tools and or knowledge to be successful in their chosen profession.

Michael,
Yes, well trained, and critical thinking employees too.

Barry Westling

Walt,
Great! This just goes to show the importance of well trained and prepared students, which include good employee tratits (soft skills) that often emphasize and identify the exemplary employees from the rest of the just so-so crowd.

Barry Westling

Is to help students acquired new knowledge and skills.
