kristen,

It is very important for admissions representatives to fully understand the product they are selling. Seeing it and believining it go hand-in-hand.

Patty Aronoff

wanda,
Excellent post! The enrollment agreement in conjunction with the catalog constitute the contract between the student and the school. By signing the enrollment agreement, they are acknowledging they have received and read the catalog.

Patty Aronoff

Latoya,
Excellent! Make sure to review the definitions outlined in both the rules and the statutes as they are outlined in both.

Patty Aronoff

Danielle,
Accreditation can be for both public and non-public institutions and are not just for post secondary schools.

Another concern about regulations is the confusion that comes along with them. Do you think a consultant should be hired to fully explain regulations?

Hello Olga, i could not agree more with you. I believe that is why training is important and it should be implemented in addition to resource at hands in order to avoid having any misconception or providing false information to prospective students.

Hello patty, my resource book also contains enrollment agreement- which is needed to retrieve students' personal information with ease.

My school has done a great job of preparing a resource manual which includes CIE rules, the catalog, program information, all enrollment file documents, advertisements and placement information. We regularly update it and it makes the process so much easier and comfortable.

Patty,
I have just started in this industry and think the resource notebook is a great idea. So far, I've placed this course and a student catalog with addendums in mine. I plan to put anything that is compliance related in it as well as product knowledge notes from the various program directors at my school.

I have placed several notes in my Resource Notebook, and I have discover that you need a GED or high school diplomia to attend this school.

I added the Enrollment Agreement, Catalog,Marketing tools, and Program brochures for each program that we offer along with the information sheets for each program. That way on my down time I can brush up on the important facts of each program.

Along with the Rules,Statues,Catalog, Enrolement Agreement and Marketing materials, I put a slot for Job placement and Course/ Curicculum information. That is something that should also be on hand and updated in the Resource Notebook. I feel like I learned that this is also very important to keep on hand for the students.

I have started off with summary points for rule 6E-2.010 and followed with definitions of terms. I think these are always good to have on hand.
