It is important to know correct information on the rules and school to better inform people. Keeping a good resource book as reference is the best way of having info available to look back to. Updating it would always make sense because of changes and new info as well.

I agree, it is very important to be updated with current regulations so students always receive the correct information.

I've always had a resource notebook (I just never thought to call it that). I can't begin to tell you how helpful it is to me. I keep all of my admission requirments, newsletter updates, rules, regulations, etc. I use it during orientation and just so much more. It's like a one-stop-shop notebook.

Some of the terms used in our admission's process is: admissions requirement, enrollment agreement, programs, and transfer credits.

Some of the terms and definitions used are:
Career services, program choices, career choices, career wheels, financial aid asistance. Others are, leads, conducts, sits, applied, pre packed and packed. The later ones refer to appointments, applications and steps within the process.

Accrditation, FA, catalog, enrollment, trasnfer credit.

This was very easy for me. I already have a resource notebook that I put together for my benefit. I did update the rules and regulations. I also updated the organizational chart for the school. I do find this idea great.... It is much easier to to have everything in one place...

Enrollment Application

Accreditation
These are terms that could be used during the admission process at our institution.

I have added our current catalog, enrollment agreement, payment plan options for our students and other state requirements to obtain a license.

Degree, Our 2 year associates RN program
Diploma, Our Licensed Practical Nurse program.
Accreditation, we are currently Nationally accredited by COE, and we have just received candidacy for Regional accreditation.

Our office is "green", so I have all documents regarding statutes, rules and regs, the catalog and all other pertinent program information saved on my computer in PDF form...I have created shortcuts to the information so that I may have a quick reference with just one click of my mouse...plus, each PDF file is easy to search with a key word or two, so I don't have to skim and scan through the text in a time consuming manner if I want to review or reference information.

I have always used a resource notebook and will continue to add pertinent information to it.

I put all information from resources provided and included information from our school.I cannot recall anything I was not aware of. Maybe things were reenforced that normally do not happen.

I printed out the regulations and took screenshots of information that was important to me in training the admissions representatives that I supervise.

I also plan to place the manual in a central location as a reference tool for the team.

Accreditation
"Accrediting agencies provide volunteer membership for institutions and act as "gatekeepers" for federal funding program participation if they are approved and recognized by the US Department of Education. Accrediting agencies are classified generally as national, regional, or programmatic depending on their charter, approval, and scope."

---

Enrollment
Registering a student to take programs or courses at an institution when such registration obligates the student to pay tuition to the institution and obligates the institution to provide instruction to the student.

---

Program
A prescribed group of courses, taken in the proper sequence to attain mastery of a body of knowledge or set of skills, and leading to a certificate, diploma, or degree.

---

Title IV Funding
The federal allocation of funds for post-secondary education. Students who are eligible can use such funding at institutions which participate in such funding programs.

The information that I have places in my resource notebook so far are all the definitions, and the links to the Statutes there are the Florida Administrative Code Commission Rules

Terms and Definitions, our Catalog, Statues and Rules, Fair Consumer Practices, Enrollment Agreement... I knew things were in our literature, forms, procedures and I am accustomed to rules, regulations and disclosures so just having a great time bringing all this together, refreshing and putting together my Resource Notebook!

so far I've added the FAC Agent documentation...

the major new school requirement I've dicsovered is this annual training itself.. also training requirements for outside agents....

I have started with the Chapter 6 E, Florida Administrative Code Commission Rules, 45 pages long! I also added the definitions and terms from the training module. More to add and will do so in the future. I wanted to spend some time going over the Chapter 6 E first.

Enrollment,Enrollment agreement, Accreditation, and Program.
