Mary,
Good idea! Organization is a key element of creating your notebook. The goal is to be able to access the material quickly.
Patty Aronoff
I have created a binder with the resources in it and plan to add dividers so that it is easily accessible.
I'm keeping a folder for all the paperwork.
Our Director keeps all the main forms in her office so I know that if anything should happen to my copies on my desk I can get another copy from her.
I've created a file drwaer with the training materials we have recieved and with various information given during this training. I've also created a folder to house all my notes on rules and regulations.
I have created a word document that I am adding important information to as I am going through the training material. I am creating tabs for each section to keep it organized. I am also printing the matrial to put into my resource notebook.
Jennifer,
Excellent process to preserving your notebook. It's value lies in the current state of the documents it holds.
Patty Aronoff
Betty,
You have put together a great plan. As you update your notebook, take time to revisit the other material in your book. You'll be surprised at what you will discover.
Patty Aronoff
Jeong,
Wonderful! Keep the notebook in a manner that best suits you.
Patty Aronoff
Sherine,
Organization is the pathway to compliance. Checklists provide an audit trail and are visually a great tool.
Patty Aronoff
I have a full notebook with all updates and rules. I also keep the catalog in there and everything is marked and divided into its proper catagory.
I have printed all the documents that I will need to keep in my notebook, I have added an enrollment agreement and school catalog and I have put them in sections using tabs. I will make sure to look for any changes or updates from the Commission for Independent Education and add them in my notebook.
I have a resource notebook that has dividers and color taps so that I can easily access to what I look for.
In a notebook and by using a Admissions' checklist
Jennifer,
Good idea! The amount of information a student receives can be overwhelming.
Patty Aronoff
Adalinda,
After the basics, continue to add any material that assists you in your job. Try adding organizational charts, career information, ad slicks and other resources.
Patty Aronoff
Olga,
Thank you for your feedback! We value your comments.
Patty Aronoff
Renee,
Student files are an important administrative function that the school performs. It all starts in admissions and follows the student throughout their association with your school.
Patty Aronoff
Michael,
Sounds like a great plan! Think about adding a section on frequently asked questions and career services information.
