Tanika,
Sitting in on a class is so rewarding. You will gain a new perspective.

Jacqueline,
Students rely on us for up-to-date information and honesty.

Suzanne,
This is very important to research the industry. Most often this is the most valuable part for our graduates and placement.

Melynda,
Thank you for your post!

Joy,
Sounds exciting!

Our Institution is attractive to many students in that we offer various programs ranging from 8 to 16 weeks. Included in the programs are lectures, workshops and seminars which I plan on attending so I'll have a better understanding from a student's perspective.

We offer many different programs in Education, Business, Healthcare, Human Services, Technology, Communications for Associates to Advanced Doctoral degrees.

We offer Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Assisting & Health Information Technology. I learn about there jobs by research and using government sites to understand the locations, titles and salaries for each program. I learn about there growth in those fields and 10years down the line for each field.

We teach classes that map to various industry sponsored certifications. All of our programs are diploma programs. We learn about the jobs our students train for because we do daily industry research, we have advisory meetings, and we all have industry experience.

We offer helthcare programs as well. For me, I've been in the helthcare field already, so I find it extra helpful when talking to propect students about what to expect for their new career!

We offer careers in the Healthcare industry as well as the Criminal Justice field. I plan to sit in on various classes in the future so I can become more knowledgeable about the learning process for each of our programs.

I work at the same campus. We also offer massage therapy (although it's temporarily undergoing some reconstruction).

Advisory boards are also very useful to help guide prograoms.

My school has both diploma and degree programs

We offer degrees in:
Business, Computer drafting and design, criminal justice, Medical assistant and network administration.

We offer diplomas in:
ESOL, Medical assistant technician and medical billing and coding.

I have read the catalog and talked with all the instructors about each program. I learn something new each day

The programs offered at my school range from culinary to information technology and everything in between. We are primarily a medical related school that offers nursing, medical assisting, medical office management, surgical technologist, and medical coding. As I said above we also offer culinary, information technology, as well as cosmetology and business programs.

I have learned about the jobs the students train for by doing two main things, talk to the instructors and talk to the students. We are encouraged to ask questions of our faculty and student population to learn more about what they are training for.

At my institution, we only offer one program that graduates the student with a diploma. It is not necessary to be certified to work in this state, however we do prepare our students to take the certification test upon graduation.

We only offer one program at our school, Instructor Development Course, which is designed for people desiring to become scuba instructors. I am familiar with the course because I took it myself. I stay up to date with all aspects of the school.

At our Institutions we offer programs related to the beauty Industry. The best way to learn about the programs are to meet with the Instructors , sitting in some of the classes being taught, we also visit some of the local Salons.

We offer Cosmetology, Facial Specialist and Nail Technician.

I attend meetings with salon owners and also have them come to the school and speak directly with the students.

This gives the students first hand what salon employers look for when recruiting.

Bruce,
