We are offer MEd in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Technology and several endorsements.
Having been in education prior to this job I understand the advantages of having a MEd. I also stay in touch with our student placement office

Elaine,
Technology is such a rapidly changing field! You certainly have to keep up with the trends in the field.

Patty Aronoff

Elaine,
Excellent! These are definitely key positions in today's work force. Best wishes for your success.

Patty Aronoff

Daniel,
Nursing is a varied career. There are so many options when your students enter the field. Your advisory board can get you connected as well as local healthcare associations.

Also, I learn from getting industry-wide certifications in the field of study. For example, the Computer Suppor Specialsit requires MOS certification and QuickBooks certification.

Computer Support Specialist, Administrative Assistant Office Support Specialist and Medical Secretary. All are Diploma programs.

We are strictly a school of nursing, so I currently only have 2 nursing programs I have to know about. Plus, I have the added advantage of having nurses in my family. They give me great information about the current trends in the nursing profession and where to seek out job information. I have been surprise to learn how many different career options nurses have available to them.

Santhia,
The local workforce is a great community connection. They can provide you a wealth of information.

Patty Aronoff

Bill,

Exciting! I would suggest that you also add information from the Florida Board of Nursing to your resource notebook.

Patty Aronoff

Elaine,

Instructors are such a valuable resource. Instructors are passionate about their field and love to share their knowledge.

Patty Aronoff

Dominique,

Your career services department and program advisory committees will also provide you additional information.

Patty Aronoff

Lisa Marie,

CNA training provides a valuable part of the allied health programs.

Patty Aronoff

Elizabeth,
By offering EMT certification, you are also under the regulations of the Florida Department of Health. Make sure to add their information to your resource notebook.

Patty Aronoff

Marion,

The community relationship you have established is critical in the efforts of placings our studnt's. Kudos to you!

Patty Aronoff

Mariana,

Sound exciting! Foreign legal studies sound very interesting in our global world of business.

We are currently offering Home health Aide and Nursing Assistant. We keep in touch with the local home care agencies and the one stop career centers.

LPN and RN program we also have a LPN to Bridge RN program.

My school offers the two Diploma Programs: Computer Support Specialist and Administrative Assistant/Office Support Specialist. I am very familiar with the corporate world and know the office application programs used in that environment. Incorporated in the training session are corporate office scenarios not from the book but developed by the me, the Instructor, based on real-world situations that I encountered when working. The attitude of "when you are in this situation, do this" keeps the student's mind set on the job throughout the entire program. I learn about the job requirements by attending computer certification seminars.

We are an allied health school. We offer courses from CNA to PN. I will learn more about the industry and job demands by conducting excessive research in-house, accessing the Bureau for Labor Statistics and the likes.

Fortunately we only offer the Nurse Assistant Training Program so it has been easier for me to stay up-to-date on everything entailed in just one program.
