Also I would like to get more info from the State boards, and speak to the students and instructors on their experience.

We offer technical programs such as Culinary, Cosmetology, Medical Assistant, and many others. I plan to learn about these careers by talking to other professionals in the field, Admissions Director, other Admissions Representatives, and Career Services.

My school offers medical assisting, patient care technician, business, criminal justice, web design, and network administration. I will learn about the jobs students train for by visiting my career services department and online resources.
We offer many different degrees such as, Business, Psychology, Nursing & Education. I believe it is important for me to learn about the different types of licensure required by the state of FLorida to learn about the types of jobs the students can train for. For exmaple, With nursing I know that we are CCNE accreddited, but also know that the student must first be a licensed Registered nurse before they can apply for most nusring jobs in the state of florida. Also, With Education there are various different tests that the student must pass in the state of Florida before they are issued & given permission for the license. Such at the general Knowledge exam as well as the subject area exam. I will ensure to place all current info in my folder as well as have the student refer to the most current regulations and licenses necessary for them to seek the job they would like to pursue.
I am lucky enough to work for an institution that only provides master's level education degree programs to teachers. This makes it much easier to learn, and understand, the typical career path of an educator as well as the requirements.
my school offers a cosmetology program. I learn about the jobs students train for by doing research, listening to guest speakers that come in to speak to the students from the industry, sitting in on classes, salon visits, listening to the motivational CDs available to us from mentors and platform artists in the industry.
