Rick,
What a great idea! New people bring a new perspective to routine meetings.
All meeting is good because you never stop learning.
In our campus we meet with our program Directors for information. Also as a DOA I provide my team with information on a daily basis about our programs, and any changes happening.
Many online webinars, online training, and communication with the directors.
I recently went to a compliance meeting and I found it very informative. In my position I have to know compliance, compliance, compliance. And it’s always good to keep up to date on what’s currently happening, and changing around you. I believe the best way to do that is to have a regularly scheduled training/meeting to keep everyone on the same page.
Pamela,

I am a high school admissions rep. so I attend an annual training event specifically for high school reps, as well as quarterly training calls with the National Director of Admissions leading. We also hold weekly staff meetings to discuss corse or program offerings and any marketing that may be out there so we are aware when prospective students inquire about attending our school.
Last year our institution went through their 10 year re accreditation process. This was a very helpful thing for me to go through because every department worked together to create binders and mission statements. Through this process we attended multiple meetings about our institution.
We have weekly meetings where we discuss all phacets that are relevent to our operation. I am from the school of thought that even if you dont have anything to talk about, you still meet to keep the comraderie high and also to knit the loose ends; there are always loose ends.
Douglas,
I believe we all learn better as a group when we have a relaxed atmosphere and everyone feels comfortable to ask questions.
