The students really like that they feel they are really starting
If I was filling out a new enrollment agreement, I would ask about the refund and cancellation policy. I would refer to the policy on the agreement. If I had questions I would ask the DOF or DOA.
While filling it out with a new student, many question what the enrollment agreement is for and I guide them through it for them to be able to read it carefully. If there is a question I am not certain about, I will ask my Admissions Director.
Eric ,
Being prepared shows that you care about your prospective student.

Lisa,
Agreed! Since both items constitute the contract between the student and the school, we should be able to explain every single aspect of it.
Patty Aronoff
Judy,
We should be able to explain every single aspect of the enrollment agreement to the student. This is a contract document.
Patty Aronoff
Nick,
The signed enrollment agreement and the catalog do constitute a contract between the student and the school.
Patty Aronoff
student will always have questions about the enrollment agreement! this was one of the first things that i learned as a admissions staff member. They do not always ask about the credit break down but it is always good to be prepared for every question that can come up
it is important to completely understand both the enrollment agreement and what is outlined in the student catalogue to effectively communicate to the student what they are embarking on
Well noted, enrollment agreements should be familiar to Admissions. We need to explain whats on this legal document and be able to answer questions pertaining to the enrollment agreement. Of course, within our venue.
I explain to the student that this is a binding contract between the student and the school. The student is aware of the refund policies and withdrawal dates specified by the enrollment agreement. The student is fully aware that they are obligated to pay the fees associated with being a student at our school.
I agree with Yvvone. Knowing our "product", paperwork included makes us more confident when we interact eith students.
Salomon,
This is a financial arrangement and the details are important. They need to understand what they are committing to.
Patty Aronoff
Luz,
Since this is a consumer contract, those are important aspects to go over with the student.
Patty Aronoff
Alice,
Every student wants to feel that they are an individual when communicating with you. They want the individualized attention.
Patty Aronoff
Carmen,
Actually the two documents constitute the contract between the student and the school. When a student signs the enrollment agreement, they are stating they have read and received a copy of the catalog.
Patty Aronoff
Yvonne,
Sometimes we can become very complacent or rush through a document. The document must be filled out in its entirety with the correct information.
Patty Aronoff
DONALD,
The best advice when you don't know is to ask. Your director is responsible for the entire department.
Patty Aronoff
I would ask my admissions rep or DOA . Most questions are about tuition or fees
Ask the director of admissions. The education department of compliance and the business offices who also has the rules to include financial aid
