I am an administrative assistant for 2 programs and I receive a signed copy of every enrolled students enrollment agreement. Admissions forwards it to me prior to their signing and after. I like to keep abreast of all the correspondence that the incoming students receive.

At our school we have enrollment agreements on our server so all admissions can go on there and print them out. This helps keeping from getting the wrong one. If they ever need updated the right one will always be on there.

Always seek to find an answer rather than just guess. I can tell you there are many times that students have been given the wrong information only because of representative has not taken the time to find the true answer.

This is an interesting task. We have 7 staff members who work in our office, but 2-3 are the main admissions people. They are very familiar with the enrollment agreement and the other 4 just don't work with it as often. We will do this at our next staff meeting; the 3 admissions staff memebers will act as students and the other 4 staff memebers will act as admissions. It will definitely help all of us to be well versed on the enrollment agreement.

That is probably the most number one listed complaint in admissions. Some Students feel that they are rushed through a process because there is so much documentation involved. We need to always take the time to make sure that the student is comfortable, and also ask the questions to make sure that they understand what they are signing.

These are your two most important documents in the admissions process. When the student signs the enrollment agreement, they are acknowledging that they have read and received a copy of the catalog. It is integral to the process that we provide them a copy of the catalog and they sign the acknowledgment as such.

The name, social security number or student id, address, personal information leaflet future according to the application for admission of the university where I work.
I always ask at least 2 - 3 times if the student has any questions on the enrollment agreement. Also make sure not to rush it. It is very important that everything is covered even if the student assist on just enrolling.
The enrollment agreement along with the catalog is the contract between the school and student. We make sure that the admissions staff are always using the most current version and know the agreement from top to bottom.
