Jenny,
Transparency, honesty, and integrity all go hand-in-hand.

Jenny,
It's a great exercise. Also double check your enrollment agreement against what's in the catalog pointing out the page numbers where the refund policy can be found.
Patty Aronoff
jackie,
Excellent! Continue to find creative ways to refine your knowledge and continue to learn.
Patty Aronoff
Chelsea,
The enrollment agreement should be very clear as it is a contract once signed. As a good business practice, we should be explaining the enrollment agreement as it is completed.
Patty Aronoff
Hector,
The enrollment agreement and the catalog constitute the contract between the student and the school once the enrollment agreement is signed by both parties.
Patty Aronoff
Johjan,
Excellent! It's a great way to learn and grow within your department.

Excellent Idea, this is the best way to learn and understand enrollment agreement
We already do that and role play, I find this exercise very helpful.
Our enrollment agreement is very self explanatory and laid out in a clear and concise manner that fulfills all state requirements.
The enrollmente agreement is a very important document, and herein the contractual relationship between the institution and the student is set ..
In our institution, we practice this exercise and it is very helpful in maintaing a well organized agreement and it also helps us prepare to answer the applicants questions.
Alain,
Agreed! The student relies on us for honesty and transparency. We need to be knowledgeable about the document and be prepared to answer any questions as they arise.
Patty Aronoff
Piedad,
We need to be knowledgeable about what is in the enrollment agreement. As the purveyor of the contract, we should be able to provide any information to the student before signatures.
Patty Aronoff
Katie,
Excellent process! We need to take the time with the student to fully explain the enrollment agreement. The enrollment agreement along with the catalog constitutes the contract between the student and the school.

It is very important that an admissions representative understands the concept of this signed contract by the student, and that we are able to clarify any doubts or concerns to them.
I don't have one in my office in the present time, I know what it contains just in case a future student has questions I can help.
I like this idea too. Its a great way to make the applicant feel comfortable filling out this document.
I go over the enrollment agreement with every student step by step to ensure that they understand the information in all of the sections that they are signing.
Autumn,
So very true! The time that you spent with the student to go over these details is time well spent. I am sure that the students appreciate it when that life issue happened and goes back to the time that you spent with them.
