First comes the student questionaire then the initial interview, at that time we will determine the students area of interest and discuss the particulars of the chosen path/career; at that point we will give the student a tour of the school and if possible take the student to meet a professional in that field, such as the Program Director, Clinical Coordinator and/or faculty depending on availability for them to answer any questions the student may have regarding the profession. Then we return to the admissions department and introduce the student to the business office in which the student will get the information regarding cost and finance options.
After that shall the student demonstrate that they are still interested we will fill out the paperwork, give the student the school catalog and go over the key items in the catalog with them, fill out the application, enrollment agreement, disclosure and have the student either do or schedule the admissions test, collect the application fee and go over the disclosures. At that point any issues that involve other departments with the respective paperwork is dealt with (Transfer Credit, Financial application) when everything is put together the admissions representative takes the student for a final admissions interview with the campus president, director of education and director of compliance where they would ask the student questions pertinent to the admissions process, if student is in agreement, paperwork is complete the student is notified of their acceptance and the admissions file is given to the director of compliance who uses the contents to create the Registrar student file, the Finance office student file and the academic student file
We require prospective students to take a tour before applying. Tours typically take an hour or more and cover everything from schedules to information about tuition and financial aid. If classes are taking place at the time, students have the opportunity to observe classes. If they haven't completed one already, I offer to help them complete a FAFSA so they can get an estimate on what they may qualify for in financial aid (and official results in a couple of days). If they meet the admissions requirements and apply , we schedule their in enrollment (usually about a week away) and I give them instructions for obtaining high school or college transcripts as well as getting a physician's statement completed. I also email a catalog at that time. When they return to sign their enrollment agreement, we complete a checklist of items, including an a a form which asks about their legal history that may affect their ability to get licensed in the field they are training for.
I have an orientation where all students sit the entrance exam. After exams are graded, students are informed of their status and then are able to register for the class, filling out all paperwork.
The steps to enrollment at our school are very effective. You have to give the student that one on one and get to know them inorder to know what program is right for the prostect. The worst would be to push them into somethin they are not sure and having them drop out after. Having plan A, B, C and D when it comes to work scheduel and child care. Show them that we really want them to succeed in the program.
Our process is to send the student an acceptance letter along with an enrollment agreement for them to review. I follow-up with them a few days after they receive the enrollment agreement to discuss questions they might have about it and discuss program plan of study details and tuition payment details.
Next, when they have returned the signed enrollment agreement, I track receipt in their electronic file and place a hard copy in their student file.
Next, I give them access to their secure username and password online and they begin to go through our student orientation course.
Our institution offers a hybrid learning environment.
Guy,
Thank you for your post. It is very beneficial for all to see other institution's processes for enrollment.

The first step is a formal interview which includes a little background of our institution, the resources available to them and the school/student responsibilities and expectations. If we come to an agreement, they have to submit legal documentations to prove that they are eligible to enroll in any of our program(s). Also, based on their major, they have to take an entrance test. last but not least, if they meet all admissions requirements there will be scheduled to take part in an orientation session.
Paperwork are kept in a locked cabinet and are also scanned and saved into a drive.

Great system. Having a simple at a glance rating system help define priorities and thus efficient performance
Our students apply through a centralized application service and once we recieve their application they are sent a secondary application, provided they meet the minimum requirements. Once that is complete and applications are reviewed they are either invited for an interview, placed on hold, or not offered an interview. Post interview, they can be either accepted, alternated or rejected. They are interviewed with faculty to ensure that they are a good fit for the program as it is full-time and rigorous. Once accepted they place a deposit and start completing all health forms and then attend orientation and that kicks off their schooling!
Our school as well and we make sure at all times proper procedures and guidelines are followed.
Our school uses a check list for enrollment process, which helps to complete the required documentation in the student's file
Carlos,
Thank you for sharing your process. When a student signs the enrollment agreement, they sign they have read and received a copy of the catalog.

Our enrollment process is quite simple
After a short interview about the profile, needs and requirements, tour with the candidate around the school. The enrollment steps are:
- Fill out the enrollment agreement and submit the application fee.
- Get a copy of government photo ID and social security card (transcripts if any credits)
- Explain rules and regulations. Give and discuss a catalog copy
- Confirm to student starting date, schedule, etc.
Interview, preliminary financial aid est, complete application to entrance exam, take entrance exam test, submit essay depending on program, e-sign application and submit enrollment fee, complete FASA with financial aide, complete orientation, attend first day of class, active after two weeks with POG/GED onfile.
Montrez,
Follow-up is key. The interaction is important in developing strong relationships.

Yes, the associates are required to follow up with all of their prospective students on a weekly basis and keep documentation of the follow up.
