We actually just got an employee to maintain all our social media as a major part of her job. She does it all and it's a lot easier that way.

We utilize social media at our school. We post updates, pictures of graduating classes and other information about the school. We have found it works well.
Our school has a Facebook and Twitter page which I maintain. It is a great way for students to share their achievements, spread information about upcoming events and pictures of their accomplishments. It is and can be very time consuming so I can understand why some schools do not dedicate a page.
We have been studying since a long time the jump of our schools in social media but bearing how important is our responsibility on accuracy and truthfulness of interaction we are evaluating to assign one of the member of team to take 100% control of interaction. We definitely do not want mistakes and misunderstandings.

We are a small college and unfortunately do not have the additional staff to keep up with social media. I'm hoping that will change in the near future. I see it being a crucial part in marketing our school reaching an enormous amount of people we could not normally reach.
Unfortunately, we do not use social media. As probably the most popular form of socialization in these times, we should be riding that band wagon.
