I have a large binder that I put all the rules and regulations in side.The front has the table of content. Inside the table of content there is highligthed sections of those that were specified in the course.

How can you or did you organize all the paperwork and information related to completing the admissions process according to state guidelines?

I have collected some information regarding the rules. I store the information in a folder. we also have a checklist to go through while meeting with students. During my initial training there was a segment that explained the finance pieces. This was also part of prepared information given to me by the school.

Our online institution has a form server website with all the necessary compliant forms required.

I have a binder with a checklist of all the requirements I actually use one cover checklist for each one of my enrollments to ensure accuracy.

We periodically sit in each other's appointments. It help everyone understand what the procedures are and often we provide feedback to one another.

I am an organization junkie...both paper and electronic. So I have binders which contain the paperwork I need and I also keep inportant info on the computer copied to a stick (in case of a crash) that stays in my desk. Everything is readily available at all times!

I think understanding and learning everyones roles in the enrollment process is the best asset you can have. I have meet with everyone and created a check list just as a helpful tool

There are very specific guidelines that we adhere to at this campus like all of our other campuses and if we as an admissions representative. There is even a very specific order in which we have to put the paperwork in before bringing it to our manager so that nothing is overlooked.

yes. I put them with every application when a student is certain that they want to enroll. All of the paper work is made as a packet so that I assure that everything is completely filled out.

Yes. Our school had Resource Notebooks in each of their Interview Rooms, so I had a copy to go by. It was nice to see it actually being used. I just had to add the proper components for our Program.

Great point.. We have actually created an open door policy in our Admissions Department and we encourage all departments to sit in on Admission Interviews with emphasis on the Instructional Staff. Sometimes the instructors get the idea that Admissions takes all commers and it's good for them to see that it really is a process to find that "good fit" for the student applicant and the school.

I have a checklist of the admissions process at my desk in accordance to our state's regulations and institution policies. As long as the checklist is followed we are in compliance.

I used a large binder to keep myself organized. I included tabs lableing each important subject. that way whenever I need to reference something quickly I have easy access.

Just at stated in the training its best if you stya organized as an Admissions Rep. so, when you have a student in your office you can successfully pick Admissions Paper work for prospect student.
I keep everything in one large binder for quick access by program type at our school. I also have smaller sub-headings in my drawers with copies of specific degree information.
Admissions paper work is part of our enrollment process and should flow smoothly so you do not look scatterbrained and lost when a student is in your office.

Our Dir of Admissions has all paperwork required for an enrollment in a file cabinet. I took blank copies of each form and made packets that I have in a file in my desk...ready to be pulled out, knowing everything is already there and in order.

This is a great practice! We do this as well. It is very important to stay up to date with the entire process and continual training and informations sessions are the best practice for this.

What a good idea! Each potential student has tons of questions just about the process of how things are done during their enrollment, FA being one the most important to them. I think that is very important for us to have all the tools to help these potential students make their decisions.
