I think the best way is to check for changes on a monthly basis on the state website. Any changes that I find or am made aware of in the office should be thoroughly reviewed and added to the binder.
I have added the Ohio State Board to my favorites to keep up-to-date. I also attend monthly meeting with staff/coordinators to assure the admissions department knows of curriculum updates.
The Ohio Board is the best way to keep up with updated information. Also, to touch base with my manager as well as our Chief Compliance Officer. He is always on top of any regulatory changes that are made.
Thanks
I make sure that I am in good communication with my director and director of admissions.
My college has up to date calls to keep me informed on any new changes. I am also pro-active in finding out all the news i can within my school and its different departments, ie; I keep in touch with my department chairs. And this training has opened my eyes to leaning more.
My plans for missing information is to double check with a few of my co-workers (reps) and then to "schedule" myself every other month to check the ohio boards website for any new updates.
Seems like we have unlimited resources to keep up with the newest information which is wonderful!!!
I plan on Reviewing course guideline and catalogs along with visiting the school's website regularly for all up to date information and changes.
Definitely using the Ohio board website to keep up to date and the intranet through work. Our directors are also very good at keeping us up to date! I will add a department chart to my resource manual.
My plans to add any missing information and to keep up-to-date with any changes being made is to keep educating myself on these practices.
I plan to use all resources, such as the internet, printed documents, etc. to keep up to date with changes and compliance. I also feel speaking with my colleagues and supervisors will keep me up to date as some information may be received by others prior to me. I will be proactive in maintaining current information.
I will keep updating my resource notebook to stay current. Utilizing the website and checking back on a monthly basis for updates. I also have a few blogs and information resources on my RSS feed.
Know the catalog, talk with the education department and program directors. Keep your notebook up to date. Include any changes as they come.
I plan to continue networking within our school to meet all the staff members and learn more about each of them and their unique programs. I will then add that information to my binder.
I also will continue to make sure that I have all the current literature and publications so that I'm familiar with what lead sources are out there so that I can speak more knowledgeably with students.
Keep verbal and written contact with other. Stay current with news, journals, and others in similar positions.
Our campus director and director of admissions usually inform us when changes will take place. But i usually make sure i am up to date every month. That way I know I have the best information possible.
i think there needs to be excellent communication throughout the entire school so that everyone knows when changes occur.
To participate in leadership meetings; interact with team and students, develop relationships with companies; and set monthly review of resource book materials for updates needed.
I plan to check this site on a regular basis. It is important to keep up-to-date on the Rules and laws.
The best way to keep up-to-date regarding laws and rules is to check the Board website. The best way to keep up-to-date with the school policies is to keep open communications between all departments. Meet with academics on a regular basis to keep up with programs. Sit down with the Career services department and ask them where our graduates are working. Communication!
