I would rate my knowledge about my institution a 9 out of 10. I find the activities section in the new employee handbook to be very helpful. It gave me the ability to find out information about the staff through activities that includes; interviews, questioning and listening techniques. During the short time I’ve been employed, I was able to partake in product knowledge meetings. And, I believe the understanding I received through theses meets, will be useful information when speaking with a prospective students.

I just started my job as an admissions representative at my institution, so I am still going through the learning process about who they are and what they offer.

One thing I really appreciate is that every message we send to students is consistence from one department to another. Being that we are a smaller school we are able to really understand everyone role and send a clear message about how that affects students. I am never unsure about what our job placement rate is or specific software and equipment students will learn on. I am happy that I work in a place where we are all on the same page and updated consistently through school meetings.

I am becoming very knowelable of my institution. I am learning admissions requirments and processes, degree programs offered and whats expected of me as a representative.

I have learned a lot more about the financial aid aspect of my instutiton.

Juan,

For our purpose it is important to understand how the campus works and areas of responsibility.

I still have a lot to learn about the organizational structure; when it gets to academics I think my knowledge is at the level of my responsibilities

Mauren ,

We are a small school with specific programs , i have been with the school since it's opening 2 years ago. I am confident on the knowledge i have of the programs we offer. Right now we are very focused on new ways of collaborating with staff members to achieve daily tasks in much easier and robust ways.

Kristin,
Keep on learning! You will have something new to learn every day. It's never boring.

It's a great feeling to have. When we stick together in compliance and ethics, we create a great environment.

Carly,

It takes an entire campus to create a graduate. Therefore, teams are the best possible setting to make that happen.

Sylvia,
Many people do. Financials situations are best left to the people who know the business well. Mistakes often happen when we are in areas where we are not subject matter experts.

Kayla,

Small organizations have a great family atmosphere. It's a great place to be.

Niurka,
Every school is different as we experience the culture change in each area. Even schools in the same city or location will have a different campus culture.

Patty Aronoff

Jeremy,

Excellent advice! Even though we may have a vast amount of knowledge, when we don't know we must ask.

I just started with my school and I am learning more and more every day.

I just started at my school as an Admissions Representative and I am learning so much about the programs we offer and everything about the school in general. I would give myself a 7 on a rating scale, just because I'm still reading up on things and learning. Financial aid seems to be something that I need to learn and understand more.
