Yadira,
Florida needs teachers! Your school provides an excellent service to the community.
Christopher,
Your experience is a wonderful asset to the classroom. Students want instructors who have been there, done that.
Laceinne,
I always encourage reps to visit classrooms to get a real idea of what happens in the educational experience. This helps in developing your product knowledge.
I offer restricted and full barber programs. I have worked in in the field for over 20 years, 12 as a business owner. I'm working on my delivery in the class room that is where I lake experience.
My school offered FTCE, is a good program because the students is prepared for teaching and receiving preparation for all test, required for department education.
It is important to be knowledgeable in the programs offered at your school. We are a school of Business, and offer only that for now.
Our program offers 3d modeling, animation and visual effects. Our graduates are placed within the Film, TV, and Gaming industry's. The admissions team spends a lot of time in the class rooms, working with the instructors and current students so we understand the curriculum and software necessary to complete the course.
We offer programs in digital animation and visual effects. All of the instructors have worked in the field, so I talk to the instructors frequently about the current job climate. We also have weekly staff meetings where our placement director speaks about studios that are currently hiring.
At my institution we have a School of Business. We offer programs in Marketing, Logistics, Human Resources, International Business, and Hospitality & Tourism.
I have learned about our programs by taking time and meeting with the program director,Director of Academics, and when it comes to placement I'm looking forward to meeting with our Student Services/Career services Coordinator.
We are a health school so we have programs like Massage Therapy and Pharmacy Technicians. I always go to the program managers and instructors to ask what the students learn in class this way I can tell prospective students.
At our school we offer practical nurse, registered nurse and ESOL. I learn about the jobs students train for by talking to the student advisers who have a job bank. The student advisers are in touch with various employers in the community and even though they cannot promise employment, they make the students aware of job availability.
We offer x-ray medical technician-medical assistant, pharmacy technician, hospital & health services management, massage therapist, personal fitness training and esthetics. I learn about the jobs students train for by dicuss them with the career services department. I know what types of jobs are popular for each field in this area.
Errol,
I often recommend that reps visit classrooms and talk with instructors to get a better feel of what goes on in the daily life of a student.
It is important as an Admissions Representative to be knowledge about the programs offered at the instution. This makes the Rep able to give proper guidance to the prospective student on the best fit for them. It is also useful to have senior instructors and program directors conduct product knowledge training for the Reps.
